BIOGRAPHY/BAND HISTORY:
Got my first own guitar when i was 13 (Inspired by Sulo!). I had this SG-replica called DIA(which was my main guitar about 3 years) and an old Ibanez 15w combo, and with them, i played my first Metallica&Nirvana licks & riffs.
Today, my main goal is to develop in solo-playing and have my rhythm playing tight as fuck. I practice a lot, about 2-4hours in a day. I guess i'm a little bit slow of learning new things, but i will get there! If i play along with a CD, good practice material to me is some old testament for solos (Skolnick slays!) and old Sepultura and Slayer for the rhytms! I also enjoy the work of Sami Yli-Sirviö in Kreator, amazing leads and nice sound.
I have played in a few lineups before Dead Shape Figure. My first serious band was called 'Plain'. 'Plain' was founded in 2000 or 2001 i guess, we played about ten gigs and did 2 demos. The biggest moment of 'Plain' was, when we won the local band contest in vernissa, hehe.
My second band was called Overrun, it featured three members from 'Plain'. We did three demos and played about ten to fifteen gigs. I left Overrun permanently in 2004.
