Biography
Was born in the Virgo´s sign in 1966. In Chinese Horoscope she´s a Firehorse.
Already as s a very little girl she was keen on music and sung in the family trio and in different choirs until 14. After that she studied classical singing in the Jyväskylä´s conservatorium.
Own conserts, a lot of gigs with her musical friends and a few teenage rockbands until 18.
Even one “humppa band” called Con Amore!
Tarujen Saari was founded in 1996 and since then she´s been the leading vocalist in Tarujen Saari. She also writes the lyrics and does some composing.
Has been visiting Ensiferum´s albums as a guest musician.
Sings backing vocals on Blinded Rain´s Time- album and Vampire-ep.
Loves the French folkmusic – the best song ever heard is Denez Prigent´s and Lisa Gerrard´s Breton song “Gortoz a ran”. (From the Black Hawk down – soundtrack.)
Exellent musicians and bands according to Kaisa: Gabriel Yacoub, Eric Montbel, Arvo Pärt, Ensiferum, Finntroll, Värttinä, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Garmarna and Vesa Vigman.
Likes reading, writing and horses, gardening and nature in general.
Lives together with her fiancé Vesa Vigman (Tarujen Saari). Three children – two of them are already grown ups.
