Biography
I was born in Hellsinki- the capital of northern metal music. I started piano lession at the age of 6. Already then I knew our guitarist Tuomas. I quitted taking piano lessons at the age of 13 because I got more and more interested in not-classical music and electric keyboards. My first public performance was with Tuomas at school party. Me and Tuomas used to make "funny" compositions to our friends as birthday presents - they weren´t too far away from Tuomas´s composition today.(...just kidding! )
My style was originally more proggressive and my inspirator was Jan Hammer. Nowadays my style is heavier, but the style of my former idol can still be heard in my playing. After various EPs I joined a band called Atheme One where I played for two years. The evolution changed the band to Amberian Dawn. The band named me Mr Devil - who knows why...?
