Biography
Janne Stenroos was born in Riihimäki on July 17th, 1973. Stenroos started playing in a band as a drummer when he was living in Tervakoski. He was only 14 years old at the time. After a while he changed to bass and began hanging around in Riihimäki.
In early 90's Stenroos played in a band called Paralysis with guitarist Lahtinen. In 1992 Aaltonen was putting a new band, Fairlane together and finally Stenroos also joined the group. Stenroos also played in bands called Scumbags, Acid Sperm and Kadotettu Aika. One of the most centric places at the time was a rehearsing house called Punainen Talo (The Red house). That was the place where many local band parties took a place and musicians met each other. Stenroos used to spend a lot of time there too.
Stenroos's first recollection of listening to heavy music was in 80's when he found his father's wore out Paranoid tape. Stenroos has always been a big fan of bands like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Pantera, Korn and Megadeth.
