Biography
Samu Brusila was born in Hämeenlinna on June 30th, 1973. He started his singing career already as a youngster in the local choir. Most of his life he has been living in Riihimäki and that's where Widescreen Mode was also born.
As a teenager Samu was one of the rear good singers around and he had a chance to try many of the local rock and metal bands. Samu was singing in bands such as Devinette, Dysfunction, and Fairlane. Samu was hanging around in the same corners with other WSM members in the late 80's and early 90's. The most centric place at the time was a rehearsing house called Punainen Talo (The Red house) - the place where local musicians met and grouped their bands.
Samu has always been a true fan of Mötley Crüe and Twisted Sister. Other favorite bands are Metallica, Testament, Disturbed, Ratt, Soilwork, System Of A Down, Trivium, Drowning Pool, God Forbid, Freak Kitchen and Pain.
Samu Brusila is an original member of Widescreen Mode.
