Biography
Instrument: Lead Guitar
Musical background: Roni started guitar playing at the age of 8 in 1996. He got interested on his instrument after hearing the Purple classic 'Woman From Tokyo' and started guitar lessons a few weeks later. His biggest idol those days was Jimi Hendrix whose music still sents him cold shivers. Way back in 2001 Roni, Konsta Kaikkonen and Matti Niemi started to compose songs together. As a result, a rock trio Ancestral Experience's first and only demo Saturday Night Overdrive was recorded and published in the early summer of 2002. Aside from Northworld Roni has played lead guitar in Exalte and Late & The Turbolovers. He has also played Egyptian music in two Egyptian dance performs which were arranged at Malmitalo.
