Biography
Personal history:
I bought my first guitar when I was thirteen. At the time I thought that just owning guitar was great. For a year I played some punk/rock until I got interested in metal music due to Children of Bodom and Stratovarius. I left the punkstuff behind and started practising more solos thanks to various phenomenal guitar-heroes. Since then I've been aiming to develop technique, understand theory and to diversify my playing-style, what I've been lately concentrated in.
My practising has been pretty much self-learning, since the guitar-lessons wasn't the right way for me to advance. It was 2002 when Joonas asked me to join Thaurorod(not with that name at the time) saying: "Will you play in our band, you may play solos as much as you like"..;) I couldn't say no. It was a high time for me to play with the band and to use my compositions. Especially the song-writing for Thaurorod is really great because the style is versatile and I can express myself nicely. Some sort of composing I've been practised since the very first chords. It would be nice to take a look at a crystal ball and see what kinds of songs we have within five years and where they are played live.
