Musical backround:
- Started to play and study piano at the age of five.
- The studies of classical percussion started in 1986.
- Teaching both piano and classical percussion.
- Played keyboards and percussion in various jazz and big bands.
- Played classical percussion in symphonic orchestras.
- Played in rock, pop and heavy bands too many to mention.
About Winterborn Project
The bands musical theoretician cause of his educational backround. Also extremely experienced performer. He must have been performing all kinds of music a man can think of. Brilliant keyboardist and backround singer with ability to really perform. Pasi`s companion in songwriting. Appreciates little drinks every now and then.

Yeah! About the band: Well... there's five different personalities, backrounds and visions. But everybody are highly ambitious for the band and ready for compromises wich have to be made. Personally I am very gratefull that I've found so great guys to work with.
Well, what can I say about the record!? Recording session progres is slow, but still steady. As you know... debut is allways debut and theres lots of stuff to arrange and to think without individual producer and recordcompany.
From my point of view, Vapola and I have found very unique combinations for our music. Theres lots of things goin on between traditional and progressive metal mixed with some influenses from classical orchestrations and even some pop-music melodies. Also there can be noticed my passion for the film-scores.
Basicly we have this idea to compose all different kind of metal tunes, so the people who listen the music cannot really put the certain label on it. Later I have been little worried that....maybe theres a little danger to lose music's "red thread". But for our luck; we have powerfull vocalist who has very distinguishable sound, wich will take control on every songs and makes the musical journey remain uniform during whole record.
