Biography
Riina Rinkinen was born on October 9th 1982 in Jyväskylä Central Finland. After living in Jyväskylä for the first 14 years, she and her mother moved to Jämsä where she attended high school with variable results. In Jämsä she met her future band members, and was the vocalist of a progressive rock band called Parallax.
This band also had some Silentian members, as Janne Ojala was the drummer and Matti Aikio played the bass. After high school she attended Kymenlaakson Kansanopisto for an eventful year, studying theater and writing. From 2004 she has been the female vocalist of Silentium, appearing first on the album Seducia.
