LULLACRY RELEASES THEIR LONG AWAITED 5TH STUDIOALBUM ON MARCH 2012

Pioneers of Finnish female-fronted metal Lullacry releases their 5th studioalbum "Where Angels Fear" worldwide on march 2012. It's been a long wait for all the Lullacry fans since it took 6 whole years from their Vol. 4-release. The first single "Bad Blood" will be released digitally on February 6th. You can already listen the single on Lullacry's Facebook page and in Soundcloud. "Where Angels Fear" will be released through band's own label and it's been distributed and promoted in Finland by Playground Music Oy.

Lullacry received success already before the release of their first album (Sweet Desire, 1999) by touring with The Gathering. During their career they have shared stages with bands like Nightwish and Edguy and they have also done lots of foreign metal festivals including Female Metal Voices, Rock Im Ring and Milwaukee Metal Fest. Their 3 previous albums have all jumped the Finnish albumcharts where "Crucify My Heart"-album went all the way to top-10 in Finnish albumcharts.

"Yes it sure has taken a lot of time and many things have happened. Last year has probably been the best we've had in Lullacry, at least when it comes to vibes. And you can hear that in the album. For the first time we made songs without thinking that now we have to do a gothballad or a rocksong. We just did things more spontaneusly and it led to an album that is a lot more dark, ambitious and multi-dimensional than it's predecessors. We also paid a lot more attention on lyrics and the production was organic which made the sounds more dynamic on Where Angels Fear. It will be awesome to go and play these new tunes to people, we've really waited this for long." says the guitarist Sami Leppikangas.

"Where Angels Fear" -album was produced, recorded and mixed by Mikko Herranen who also sings a duet "Feel My Revenge" with the Lullacry vocalist Tanja Lainio on the album. Album was mastered by Svante Forsbäck for Chartmakers.
