AMORAL Finnish Album Chart Spot Released

Finland’s AMORAL have announced that their new album Beneath debuted at #30 on the Finnish album charts on the week of its release on October 26th. It also landed at #17 on the Rumba album chart (which only counts sales from actual record stores, not supermarkets etc).

The band commented: “Thanks to all of you who bought it straight away! Apparently this was the most active chart list of the year so far, with 17! new entries, and many huge mainstream names releasing new albums. So we're happy to see Beneath on the charts at all! Cheers!”

Beneath will be released in North America on February 14th, 2012 via The End Records. The North American version will include one original bonus track, 'Sleeping With Strangers'.

Another update from the band states: "The cat is out of the bag... The Helsinki show at On The Rocks on November 11th will be a very special one in many ways. In addition to us playing an extra long set (there will be no opening acts), we'll be honored to have a very special guest onstage with us. Drumroll please... Amoral's original singer, Niko Kalliojärvi, will join Ari onstage for the first time ever, for a few tender duets of old Amoral songs. Now, how freakin' cool is this?! It's been over three years since we last shared a stage with Niko, so I'd say it's about time to do this!
