In anticipation of their forthcoming album, APOCALYPTICA performed a new song entitled 'Beautiful' in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine on March 28th. Fan-filmed footage is available below.
As previously reported, Apocalyptica's new album will be entitled 7th Symphony. It will follow up their chart-topping release Worlds Collide. 7th Symphony will be Apocalyptica's seventh studio album. The band recently announced tour dates in their native Finland with more international dates to be revealed soon. The band's complete live itinerary can be found here.
On 7th Symphony, Apocalyptica fans can look forward to more of Howard Benson’s (MOTÖRHEAD, PAPA ROACH , SEPULTURA) production as well as strong artistic direction from Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, COHEED & CAMBRIA). Dave Lombardo of SLAYER, along with several other surprise guest musicians also took part in the project.
Apoclayptica themselves commented, "Exciting...yes, that's how it's gonna be... brave solutions, lots of strange ideas, untypical stuff, stuff that you definitely-not-should-do, but we did it anyhow... it's cool."
An exact release date for 7th Symphony has not yet been announced. However, a summer release is expected.
