SOTAJUMALA: New Album Title, Track Listing Revealed

Finnish metallers SOTAJUMALA entered Studio Audio in Jyväskylä, Finland earlier today (Monday, January 11) to begin recording their third album, "Kuolemanpalvelus", for a late spring release through Cobra Records.

The CD will be tracked at Studio Audio and Basement Alliance studios with Tuomas Kokko while the mastering will be handled by Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers in Helsinki on February 8.

"Kuolemanpalvelus" will contain the following eight songs (order subject to change).

01. Syvyydessä (In the Abyss)
02. Paratiisin kutsu (The Call of Paradise)
03. Kuolleet, toinen jae (The dead, 2nd verse)
04. Sokeus (Blindness)
05. Sinun virtesi (Your Hymn)
06. Luut sinusta muistuttaen (Only Bones Remind Us of You)
07. Toinen tuleminen (The Second Coming)
08. Kuolemanpalvelus (Ceremony of Death)

SOTAJUMALA's "Oikeutus" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot in April 2008 in Vaasa, Finland. The song comes off the group's second album, "Teloitus" (Finnish for "execution"), which entered the Finnish chart in October 2007 at position No. 17.

"Teloitus" was recorded in Vaasa with producer Hannu Koivisto.

SOTAJUMALA's full-length debut, "Death Metal Finland", was released in 2004 via Woodcut Records.
