ANCARA: New Single "Tears with a Smile"

Ancara releases "Tears with a smile" as the second single from their upcoming album "Chasing Shadows". The song is a duet with Agnes Pihlava and the band. A very dramatic video was made from the song.

Composer Juha Wahlstén reminiscences how the story of the song was born: "When I played the demo of the song to Sammy, he got a vision of a duet with a femalesinger and scribbled down the lyrics down quite swiftly. We were supposed to use a local talent, but she withdrew for some reason and we were there pondering what to do. Our booking agent told to ask Agnes. We got totally excited and asked her and rest is history. Her voice worked perfectly and that was it!"
