NIGHTWISH: Picture Gallery From Final Show Of Dark Passion Play Tour Online, Fan-Filmed Footage Available

ShutterBLAST.net has posted a picture gallery from NIGHTWISH's final show of their Dark Passion Play world tour, which drew to a close on September 19th at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki Finland. According to photographer Audrey Dujardin "the show featured many pyros, guest musicians, snow, confetti and even a waterfall, but photographers were only permitted to shoot the song 'Ever Dream'. More photos will be uploaded a bit later."

The Princess wears her naughty boots. From Zara if I'm not wrong. :-p And Maestro is in the boat. That's probably the reason they had to reduce the hall capacity. He'll have to take a ship for the next Hartwall gig if he wants it to be sold out again.

After seeing those pics I have reached the sad conclusion that this band has turned into a bad joke. I've been suspecting it for some time, but the white top hat, the boat and Anette's outfit make me cringe. - This is not a metal band, this is not a rock band, this is not a pop band even - this is a farce.

The guys where ungry with Tarja because she changed the dresses several times during the concert. ok, Anette had 3, or more in this show, and I think that Tarja's dresses are not so bad and more if you compare with these...

And the guys, do they agree with her halloween dresses? and what about the make up? is that her ice queen make up? this girl is totally lost in metal world and the guys agree... so I don't know what is worst, her look or the fact that the guys are happy with it.

What a refreshing change to see a band with individuality on Saturday night! A band that do not fit into a `pidgeon hole` is unique in this day and age! The atmosphere was electric and the show was fantastic and nobody who was there really gives a rats arse about others opinions.
I find it rather sad that individuals spend their time commenting on artists they know very little about.

But, you see, I live in a country, called Bulgaria, where we have this dreadful musical style, called "chalga", whose performers often get on the stage wearing clothes, similar to Anette's. - I still shiver with terror when I remember what she was wearing on a pic in, I think, the June edition (the one with Tomi Joutsen on the cover) of the Finnish metal mag Inferno.
Since in Bulgaria metal and chalga are arch enemies (no pun intended), seeing chalga clothes on a presumably metal singer, horrifies me. So I have my totally different reasons to dislike her outfits, without even starting to compare her to Tarja.
All this, added to Tuomas' penchant for drama and pose and the fact that Anette can't sing very well, has entirely put me off liking NW.
But, then again, Finland has so many other metal bands, and good ones, that I am not going to loose my sleep over NW turning into a pop circus. I only feel bad for the other guys in the band.

I agree with Christina, too. In my country, Romania, "singers" who dress like Anette are only those "wannabe" great singers who do only playback and can't even speak correctly. The so called pop or dance "princesses". Or girls who only want to get attention on themselves with any price. So, seeing Anette dressing just like theses girls... how metal is that?
You will say that Tarjas' curtains aren't metal either. Yes, they aren't and I, personally, don't like all of them, but at least they are elegant and DECENT.

Funk class

So, back from the dance and today it was funk again, which I love;=) When I studied at Balettakademien, my biggest problem was the classical ballet since I just dont look graceful at all...;=) I got so much critique for my soft hands and slappy fingers...haha! Oh, I can just see it now...I had NEVER had any ballet class before and at the age of 21 they wanted me to float over the floor like a swan...I tell you...it was the worst thing ever...but I loved the jazz/show dance and funk. I am a good dancer in the way that I learn fast and are very soft in my body, but the arms etc are totally out uf gracefullness. But who cares: I love dancing and I hope in my next life I can be a dancer;=)
I am checking out some more dance classes to attend to and I hope I can find some show dance class here in the city.
My favourite dance TV series Fame are soon coming out as a movie again and I long for it. Also Flashdance and Footloose were great movies back in the "old" days;=)

I read so many different blogs from Sweden and around the world to get inspiration and one of my favourites is a girl named Frida Fahrman. She is beautiful and has a very nice style;=) These leggings is the same as I have and I love them;=)

Another great blog is Chick with guns blog, written in english by a famous danish model named May Andersen. She has some beautiful photos in it and puts together very nice outfits that I like;=) Lots of black and skulls;=)

Drag me to hell

Yesterdays dinner was a success;=) We had 3 courses and the first was tiger schrimps fried in garlic, sambal oelek and lime. Sooo delicious;=)
Then as main course we had veal filet with broccoli and cauliflower terrin and then as dessert pannacotta with white chocolate in it and to that hot cloudberries. Yummie!

Then watched Drag me to hell and that was a funny wacko movie;=) I liked it cause it was like a comedy but still a scary movie."

Morning coffee;=)

Oh, another sunny and lovely day and today I am relieved cause I am going to the dentist to get my new bite plate and I really need it! I had one before for many years but it broke 1 year ago and now my biting in the nights have been so horrible that I wake up with tension pains every morning and my teeth are totally even, which the dentist says are no good... I asked her if she can polish my vampire teeths back to being more like fangs again and she can;=) So, lets see if we have time to do that today.

Now I am drinking morning coffee and then its time for the gym. Cant decide whether to do weights or run. Lets see what it will be when I am there;=)

Some things I do need are some new exercising clothes but we only have boring stores here in the city so I think I have to order them from American Apparel. They have more cool dance-like things and thats what I love to exercise in;=)

Both keep on releasing music. So we can listen to both.
Their style changed. At least they didn't ended.

If you dont like it ,dont listen to it.

but some people here are so bitter( you find the right word of this), and they are searching day for day to find some mistakes of NW , to blame this band.
I love Tarja and NW and Iam not so blind , to see , that both of them makes mistakes in their life..but I loved the musik , and thats the reason I hear it.Iam not a personal friend of them, so it doesn´t matter for me what they do or say, for me is it only the musik and in my opinion NW makes good musik...with Tarja and with Anette, too!!!
Anettes clothes..she can wear whatever she want...thats not my style and i don´t need to wear this... so I find no problem, with her style!!!!
Tuomas hat...lol..ok the only hat that I like is the Australien...

Good morning!

I started my morning with Muse and I love their new album. They sound a bit like Queen at times and I love Queen;=) When we were playing in London the last time we went to see We will rock you and it was great! Before I got the job in NW I applied for a role in that musical in Germany cause I really love their music.

I have some nice things to do today;=) First some pilates exercising then take a turn in the city to get those things I put away yesterday and then I have time for massage and today it is a massage with hot stones. Emma thought I should try that and I think it sounds really nice with some warm stones on the back;=)

Tonight there is a concert again in town and I think I will go and check it out;=)

I also did some more music yesterday and it feels good when the inspiration comes;=)

My songwriter "partner" Anders Bagge is very occupied at the moment with being in the jury of Idols here and he is so funny;=) I watch it every evening and yesterday he took these incredible sun glasses on;=) haha! (he is the one at the right...;=)

Angels calendar

I love angels and everything with angels so today I went to our new age store and found the most beautiful calendar. Its called "Messages from your angels, perpetual flip calendar". It has every day of the year in it with different beautiful angel motives and I will cherish this every day;=)

Back home...

Hi everyone;=)

Have had a great afternoon today;=) Went to my dearest friend Linda and had a cup of tea with her and chit-chatted a bit. Then to the dentist and finally got my biting plate. Now I will sleep so much better!! Jippie!!

Then I bought some nice teas and pills in the health store to help me survive my bad PMS every month...grrr...I hate the hormones!

Had a very very nice dinner at an indian restaurant called Taj Mahal. Chicken with zucchini, tomatoes, cream sauce and salad;=)
As a dessert I went and took a coffee at Waynes Coffee and red in my book for some hour just chilling and then went to some stores to look at some things that I put away for tomorrow.

In the evening I went to a parents meeting in my sons school and that was nice to learn more about what they are doing right now, what the yearly study plan is to learn etc.

I bought this very warm and cosy cotton scarf at Gina Tricot today and I can recommend it;=)

Now, idols on TV...

Well, they now have singer who does exactly the same things they accused their first singer of, even some more rude things. Only out of the situation with first singer they made a whole shit of drama. They did, nobody made them. As I said for some people it is quite easier to read posts from her blog here, without going anywhere extra. And since it is official open blog of NW's current frontwoman...it is related to NW topic-even if she mainly writes crap there. And it says a lot about her.Besides, re-release of albums of her ex-band were announced here and some posts from her blog were posted in MFF as news :)

PMS, hormons? Nice, it is the main reason a singer should get an open blog. What next? It seems she has some sort of psychological exhibitionism.:)

That is so true, and Anette has only done one album with Nightwish and now she thinks that she is important enough so that the entire world is gonna be interested in her Pms!!, what she wants to buy?! or if she farted?!. Well I I dont give two fu**s about that. And now she is gonna release a solo album.

But what I canot really, really understand is why the rest of the band is so oblivious to this.

Honstley the with the recent band actions, Tarja actual attitude, its becoming really clear that most (if it isnt all) of the open letter was a lie.

At the Tarja gigs in Munich and Ingolstadt, I had the pleasure to talk to some people who are still Nightwish fans. There was even one girl who had been to the Hartwall gig. Guess what: there was not a single person who was not critical of Anette's singing. Even those who professed to like her voice agreed that there are some NW songs they just don't want to hear with her voice. One guy affirmed that as a musician, he just could not ignore that what sounds shitty, does sound shitty, and that Anette just sounds horrible a lot of the time.

OceanWithin: I dont agree, I like the black-yellow outfits of Tarja a lot, nothing wrong with them, and the "plastic bag" doesn't even look like one viewed close up.

Tarja has actually worn a black T-shirt and black jeans on the Rata Blanca concert.
