NIGHTWISH Singer ANETTE OLZON Taps MADONNACELINE DION Songwriter For Solo Album
28.08.2009
NIGHTWISH singer Anette Olzon has tapped Swedish producer/songwriter Anders Bagge to write material for her upcoming solo album, which she plans to record during the band's downtime in early 2010.
Commented Olzon: [Bagge] is a very famous and incredibly talented songwriter. He has done so many hit songs and has been working with MADONNA, CELINE DION, JANET JACKSON, JESSICA SIMPSON and many, many more. He is also one of the jury members in Swedish 'Idol' [TV talent competition] and a show called 'Made in Sweden'. He is a true CANNIBAL CORPSE lover and rock lover.
"At the moment, he has done some albums and one of the bands he is doing at the moment are called APOLLO DRIVE. I really liked the songs he played and the first single, 'Time', is a bit heavier and I like it!
"Me and Petri [H. Lundén, Anette's manager] came to [Bagge's] big house [on Thursday, August 27] and had a meeting with him and his two co-writer team. It was a really fun and crazy moment. Anders is a really funny guy and I laughed all the time.
"I am looking forward to do songs now and I believe this will be great."
Olzon performed on August 13, 2009 with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra at a special concert in Stockholm, Sweden as part of the Stockholms Kulturfestival (Stockholm's Culture Festival). According to Anette, "The evening [was] in the theme of Sweden-Finland and it [was] called Suomi Safari. There [was] a big symphonic orchestra, choir and more soloists that have something to do with Finland."
Video footage of Anette's performance can be viewed below.
Olzon recently wrote a blog entry on her official web site where whe talked about singing technique. She said, "It's hard to go in to exactly what I do when I sing since some things are 'by nature' and just come naturally but, of course, a lot of things are what I have learned earlier in vocal lessons and also during my career as the singer in NIGHTWISH where my voice is needed to be able to sing many high-pitched songs for 1.5 hours many nights a week.
"First of all, what I use most when I sing is a technique called 'belting.' For you who don't know what kinda vocal sound types normally are talked about, there are different sounds and techniques to use when singing. This technique is a way to come very high up by pushing the vocal cords together, slamming them against each other, so that no air at all can leak through. If any air leaks through, it can make the voice soar and aching. I do this technique also by thinking that I lift my upper lift upwards, kinda showing my teeth and a good sound to practise for it is to imitate an evil witch. You know the evil laughter. Also imitating a car like: öhrn, öhrn, öhrn... as a car accelerating forward. These things make me lift the lip and close the cords. Of course there are so many more things to do to make this technique perfect but that's an easier way to explain what I do."
In an interview with Classic Rock's Dave Ling, NIGHTWISH keyboardist/mainman Tuomas Holopainen was asked if alarm bells rang when, echoing her predecessor, Olzon recently hired a personal manager (Swedish management company Hagenburg Management, which also represents EUROPE and THE CARDIGANS). "At the beginning I had a feeling of déjà vu," he replied. "But when we discussed it I understood that she needs somebody who speaks her own language [Swedish]. Her manager is a very, very reasonable guy."
When asked how Anette is handling the fame, Tuomas replied, "She has told me a couple of times that she might not be able to handle it, on top of her divorce. I've seen her close to collapse and it has scared me, so we are protecting her."

Ohh ! What a big surprise.... lol
And Tarja was soooo a diva by preparing her solo career during her time in Nightwish...
Well done Anette, you are the vengeance of Tarja in NW for what NW have done bad for her!!
Thank you Anette, I love you really !!!

That is hopefully a joke -.-
But otherwise: Everything she has done until now pointed to this plan.
"her upcoming solo album, which she plans to record during the band's downtime in early 2010."
Hopefully the band's downtime includes the search of a new singer, but please, this time, of a TALENTED ONE!!!
I think she wont pay any attention to Nightwish after the release of her solo album.
And for all Tarja-haters and Anette-arse-lickers:
ANETTE WONT WRITE THE SONGS BY HERSELF!!!!
So this is not a point you can critize Tarja for anymore.

Now that's interesting, a solo album. Well, we all expected this, didn't we, after hiring her own manager and making her own website - but maybe she won't start a solo career now - if the album isn't very successfull she'll stay in Nightwish, I guess. But we'll see. Hey, maybe I should buy it, then....no, just kidding^^
All that talking about her singing technic is silly, in my opinion she doesn't use any. There are so great singers who do belting (e.g. in Musicals, of course) but she doesn't compare, I'm sorry. Although she's much better in this video than I expected (maybe she's better with an orchestra than with a metal band? I don't know..), but still average, I think.
Is it going to be a pop album? Because of the examples given here - Madonna, Jessica Simpson etc. And it seems she doesn't write her own songs. Doesn't sound very promising, really...

I do agree with you on that fact that NW guys have their own projects too... But IMHO to Anette it's more than this... And I don't think that for Anette's manager it's just a simple "side projects" too. They are currently preparing her solo career. And IMO again, if it works, Anette won't need NW anymore (doesn't ring any bells ?...)
So I want to say it again : THANK YOU ANETTE ! I LOVE YOU !
Devy wrote on 28.08.2009 at 19:08
The others may have side projects, however, nobody else in Nightwish has released a solo album (except, of course, for Tarja - she released a christmas album, and she already wanted to leave before they fired her). Nobody said a word when Anette sang a song with an other band, but a solo album is different.

Because a lot of the audience was Finnish. It was a Swedish-Finnish festival. I was there to watch Anette perform, although I prefer Tarja. There were not many people in the audience. A few hours later Apocalyptica played, and the place was packed. If Anette has many fans in and around Stockholm, they sure didn't show up to show her support.

Yeah right, Tarja was always in war with tuomas because he didn't like that she has her own classical solo career! And now Anette is doing the same... but worse, because she don't know anything about singing, and she will RECORD a solo pop album!
I hope anette kick out nightwish as soon as possible! She's doing her job and she deserves more than a hitler faggot like tuomas!
Anonimous wrote on 29.08.2009 at 03:20
Well, I'm surprised that Legeon and the Demo Crew haven't appeared yet on this thread, but I'm sure that as soon as they see this, they will cry out a big fat A-HA!
Congrats, Legeon, your criticism has been vindicated.
Between the out-of-character attire, the manager, the controversial gigs, and now this deal, it seems pretty apparent that Anette really doesn't care for Nightwish. She is doing many of the things that Tuomas cited as grounds for firing Tarja, and now the fans are (rightfully) calling BS on it.
One person did make a valid point that the other members of NW also have side projects, such as Marco w/ Northern Kings or Tuomas with For My Pain, but there is a difference. The side projects that the guys have are BANDS. Anette is doing a SOLO album. Furthermore, side projects are usually done by metal artists that already have a long-established record in metal. Anette has only been in the metal spotlight for ONE album. She came out of nowhere in 2007 and got a boost by joining NW, a band that was getting headlines for Tarjagate (yes, I call it that. I know I'm unoriginal). She got loads of attention from the scrutiny "Dark Passion Play" was held under. Now she is using all the fame she has gotten from doing just one metal album and uses it to do a solo side project that is influenced by artists that are world's apart from the band she is a part of.
It feels pretty clear that Anette used NW to kickstart her solo career. I am not going to give up on NW for her sins, but this definitely stains their image.
I hope Tuomas is doing a facepalm right now, because I sure am.

Wrathchild wrote on 29.08.2009 at 07:51
it's sad, nightwish have become a joke in the metal scene to all us old fans.
seriously, who would be proud and tell the whole world that:
1. she cant write her own music or atleast lyrics, and...
2. she's hiring a pop song writer to write her a pop smash hit!
but it's partly nw's fault for hiring such a pop princess. as if they wouldnt realise that someone who knows nothing about metal would honestly stick to it!
tarja wont go back to them, she's just as successful, if not even more successful now!
i really dont know how out of the whole world, all the great singers that must have tried out nw, that this was the "best" they came across. she should have gone on swedish idol... oh wait, she's too old -_-
hahaha yeah i agree, make her sound like cannibal corpse xD haha

I want you to stop calling us names for just because you disagree with most of us. That's childish you know. And yes, Anette is starting a solo career, with all her home studios, her own merchandise and own website. And also clearly showing that she has no respect for metal nor Nightwish at all. Nightwish WAS number one for her, until she gained the fame and the money by abusing her position in an already world-wide famous band so she could start her very own career, since she very obviously does NOT care of or respect metal AT ALL. And yes, I have visited Anette's blog several times, and read more than just the headlines.

History tends to repeat itself as a farce. - What a better example than this?
I am glad for Anette Olzon. At least she doesn't have to even pretend that she likes and understands rock and metal. Best of luck with the pop album and I surely hope I won't have to hear of her in any relation to the metal genre from this day on!
What saddens me, though, is that Nightwish have turned into a complete joke. They surely have good songs and Tuomas Holopainen is a talented composer, but he's such a drama queen. I don't know what's his problem and couldn't care less, but I kinda feel bad for the other guys who are excellent musicians and have to put up with this shite.
Oh, and BTW, I'm kinda surprised not many of you have heard of Tarot. - This is Marco's band, not that Northern Kings project.

From Anette's blog: "You all know I love that band, and, of course, this is not a solo career, but an album. I can't sit and do nothing for maybe 1.5-2 years."
...... Did I miss something? Didn't Tuomas say in a couple of interviews that they were taking a break for a few months and then starting rehearsals? Didn't Anette state that she would be there for rehearsals and working on her vocal lines? Where did the 1.5-2 years come from? She has been complaining about the tour schedule being difficult, about how it is hard to leave her son, about her voice and body being tired and stressed, about wanting a break. Now she gets to relax for a little while and she's loading herself up with more work instead? None of this makes any sense anymore...
I really don't know how I feel about this decision... At least her voice might sound better on her own songs. Tuomas has always written for a strong voice and she has a very delicate one unfortunately. I'll probably give a listen to a couple of her songs before making my decision. She said it will be "rocky" but from what I've seen so far, her being "rocky" is like Hannah Montana putting on some eyeliner and striped pants and calling herself a "rock star" (Sorry for the Disney example. It just fits, in my opinion).
As for whether or not she will be leaving Nightwish... Anyone can speculate about it all they want but the only people who know the situation are the band members. I really don't care either way. If she stays, I'll be buying the next Nightwish album anyways and hoping that she has learned to cope with everything. If she leaves, I'll just hope that they find a better singer who can handle being the front woman. I still trust the boys (maybe a little blindly sometimes) but it's their band and they can do with it what they want. Either way, they're not going to please everybody.

Wow,people are mentioning us even though we haven't posted anything yet...Cool(maybe not, but's another proof that many people here just feen on us).
And really, why should i comment? Why should i comment on something i have already said that would happen?
Anyway,i'm seriously happy about her.
Two reasons:
1)She will use her time in a more valuable and creative way than shopping,it's a good thing and hopefully she'll grow up artistically after that. She will also show exactly what kind of music she fancies. (Honest reason i'm happy)
2)Thankfully she is gonna gather the pop-loving division of NW fanbase and leave NW with the real metal fans.(kinda mean-but still true reason).
After that,i couldn't care less about how this album will sound, and that's why she has already showed what kind of music she likes.
I also don't care if she's leaving NW...Which i don't think is going to happen,at least not before another album.
Why would she?She can have both ways:the job that gives her money to do her shopping and her solo work and in the meantime she can work on her solo stuff.
As i said,i'm happy for that album. At last people will see what she is-and what she has always been:a pop singer.

Well for me is not fair if She can say bad and stupid things about my country i can say what ever i like for here she has no respect for nothing exept how to earn more money.
And i am insult how she see Nightwish like an incoming bank couse before Anette i spent time to Listen to Nightwish i spent money for there Concert and CD so i think old fans deserve some respect.Nightwish is were they stand because of the old fans not the new ones.

The "true-metal-fans elitist crap" started since the pop singer joined the band.
Until then,NW had only metal fans, with only few exceptions.
Since 2007,you are a freaking elitist even if you simply state that NW are metal.
Legeon wrote on 30.08.2009 at 22:21
Hmm, not many enthusiastic comments left this time ... wonder how the guys feel about that ;-)
Jimmie: Please stop trying to define who a "real fan" is. A real fan is NOT a blind fanatic puppet.
Christina: Uhh, Marco has had Tarot a little longer than he has been in Nightwish, or in Sinergy for tthat matter, you know? Not really comparable.
Tainted: They're not going to please everybody? Well, if that was what they really did, they'd never have pandered to the lowest common denominator in the first plaace.
I doubt that the solo album is going to be a smash hit. But if it is, I won't complain either.
Empathica: Now, why was Tuomas then so caught up about "metalness" and "trueness" in the past and got angry when some interviewer suggested that DPP sounded "poppy"? Why do they need a Finnish metal veteran like Marco as a credibility token member? Why did Tuomas and Marco criticise Tarja criticised for not being "rock/metal" as opposed to (haha) Anette? Why did Tuomas deny "true fanhood status" to critics? Who's the snob here?
Honestly, I don't know many "true metal elitists", if any, who don't listen to non-metal, too. The true fans-elitist is so tiring.
Almagest wrote on 30.08.2009 at 22:33
I missed a word - I meant "true fans elitist CRAP". And BTW, many pop fans are much more snobbish and closeminded - they think they know everything, and disrespect classical singers or anything outside their comfort zone.
Anyone notice that the NW forum is now finally down? How convenient, this prevents all hell breaking loose, since only "true" (= paying fan club members - but oh no, NW has NEVER been about money, not at all) are now allowed to comment on their forums anymore.

No it is the truth. And that was obvious from Youtube comments, official forum posts AND what we saw at their live shows(i attended 2 with Tarja and one with Olzon):only metal fans. The only non-metal was my fiancee's (ohh i hate that word) brother.
When i saw them last year,we also saw emos and people that seemed completely out of space, since NW performed in a metal festival and all these kids were wondering:what are all these creepy guys?we came for Anette!

"True-metal elitists" to me are about as bad as any pop elitist due to the fact that they are so close-minded about music it's sickening. They think they know everything and think that everything should sound like Slayer or Iron Maiden! I like those bands too, but they bash a lot of newer bands from Finland, Sweden, or Norway because they use keyboards or that they aren't "brutal" or "old school" sounding enough for them. Yeah, well I am one big metalhead myself who likes a variety of metal (almost anything except nu-metal and -core bands because those genres suck major balls XD) and isn't subject to just one genre of metal because you are only limiting yourself by doing that anyways.
It is true about Anette though. Her voice is very common among all of these other metal/rock bands with female vocalists (Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, etc.). I actually think that Nightwish got their fanbase based on the fact that Tarja's vocals were extremely unique and different that it made their music sound incredible and better. Without her, Nightwish is more "common" and a lot of their fans just got fed up and left. But the simplier music of their "new" NW sound nowadays isn't helping much either though.
The only other metal band I can think of who has more haters than Nightwish is Metallica, mainly due to the Napster incident and "selling out" in the early 90's. Ever since that, Lar Ulrich is undoubtably the most hated man in metal ever (Tuomas may in second place soon.. ;) ). They came back rather strong on Death Magnetic though, but they still got negative reactions for it. And that is kind of where Nightwish is too. I just don't know if they can redeem all of their angry fans from before 2005.
I'm trying to be optimistic about this but I really think NW kind of dug themselves too big a hole to get out of. Of course that is what I think. ;)

Thanks, Jeremy, for remembering us, but as Legeon asked already - why should we?
There is no need. :-)

And as for your call for honesty and truth - I understand you, Legeon, but ...
Why?
I was accused few times that I am overdoing it. And I was also thinking few times that it is getting tasteless and I should NOT be coming back here ANYMORE.
But everytime I thought so - NW toped it over.
However seriously I thought: this is it, you can not go further - NW proved me wrong.
So. On weekend I was with my friends and told them a story about "metal band" from Finland (nobody knows NW here) and how they came up with admiring Britney Spears - and I was accused to MAKING IT UP.
(Metalheads are believed to be uncompromising in their musical taste in this country)
I explained what kind of people they are - and everybody agreed I WAS MAKING IT UP.
(no internet connction = no proof I am not)
And then I was riding home and was thinking like:
It is a pity that Princess does not find pink woobly hats cool (yet) and is not selling them in her webshop (yet).
To see metalheads ("true NW fans") wearing them (with some Tshirt from Princess´webshop) on some concert - now, that will be a picture worth seeing!
And when I was at home I was thinking like:
What we will get next? Now after NW came up with Britney Spears and their true metalhead fans agreed that she is as metal and as finish as you might get in one go
(and I was entertaining NO end by reading posts ADMITING things "ok, I listen to BS, too and she is not that bad, she actually has nice songs.. etc)
Now - what will be next? Cooperation with Jonas Brothers? Or Miley Cyrus? I personally would love to see NW saying something like "High School Musical 3 IS a masterpiece".
and then seeing YOU admiting that. "ok, there are some beautiful songs there"
(and I still remember how I was explained that I ams SO SICK when I mentioned BFMV - Welsh METAL band here)
I actually pray for it.
What FUN it will be!
I truly enjoy this band (even if I do not listen to them) and I hope Princess will never leave it.
I am looking forward to the years to come and I wish them that their desintagration as musician will never overshadow their desintagration as PEOPLE.

The forum is not down, they moved part of it to Nightwish-world site. The old admins couldn't take care of it anymore. There are still official forums but official fanclubs are in charge of taking care of them. Nw-world is the international one.

Read first whole comments and don't only pick up my comment so after that reply to me if you have something to say!
Maybe I'm a "blind fanatic puppet" but I'm enjoy it.Real fan respect the band and support it what ever they do.Artists make music what they like and our duty is pick up the music what we like.If the artist can't please you then you don't like that kind of music and you better find something else to listen or do you really think that there is a band who can please 100% of people...don't be so fucking naive!Tuomas make an awesome music but you don't have any rights to tell him how he should make the music or who's gonna be the singer of the band so after that you can like it...what a selfish thinking.
I like old and new Nightwish but I'm not a fanatic fan. Many old fans didn't like the new singer but like me some people accepted her.Like Tuomas said:"We lost some old fans but we got some new fans too".You can cry here "old times" but believe me they still gonna do what ever they like even you don't like it and THAT'S THE FACT!
Jimmie wrote on 01.09.2009 at 00:38

Wrong again! The members of the band knows what's the best for the band because only they make the music! After that you can decide do you like it and do you want to be a fan or not but remember they can't please everybody!
You don't like the band and I really don't care about that but you can leave those evil "pop princes" comments in your small head. There is still people who like the band so your selfish comment is pointless!
PS.They deserve every penny because they make that music and they spend millions for the album and touring around the world with 20 other crew members!
Jimmie wrote on 01.09.2009 at 12:22

Yes, of course the band makes the decision. But I will publish my evil and selfish thoughts here, whether you and other "real fans" like it or not. And even though the band MAKES the decision, I have all the right to say, that IMO they should make the decision to fire Anette. Again, whether you like it or not. And with that logic you are using, your comments are pointless too, because there are still people who like the band, but think that Anette is not suitable to sing in that band.
Jaussi wrote on 01.09.2009 at 18:57

Yes... you can talk here in the end of the time and keep your opinions but the point is that your comments don't change nothing. They don't need your advices and they don't care your opinions(even they are evil...poor child) because there are millions of different opinions in the world.Do you think that you are so special for them....I don't think so!That's the reason why your comment is pointless!
You ask my logic...well my logic is very simple. If you like the band then listen it and enjoy the great music. If you don't like the band then don't listen it!Nobody cares about your personal music taste!Don't worry because if you and some "same thinkers" don't like the band they still have fans and they don't need your support!DPP album is the best selling Nightwish album so far...uuuuhhh that must be hurt....!
PS.There are 5 members at the band Nightwish so how is possible to express that you like the band but same time "I don't like one member of the band"...LOL...so funny!
You wrote first to me so after this don't replay to me!I don't want to play just with you here because I don't care persons like you who don't respect nothing ("...I will publish my evil selfish thoughts here...") and it's pointless to argue about own music taste!

Do not get me wrong. If they start to admire Jonas Brothers and even sing with them - it is up to them. They are free to do their decisions.
But what made me really bewildered - was reaction of you, "metalheads".
In my country are metalheads known to be uncompromizing as far as it is about music.
Here, although it is called "metal from Finland" - ...... well, Britney Spears?
Is it just me, or is she mainstream?
Princess going to sing what is left by Madonna and Celine Dion, etc (I still think they are mainstream, too) and EVERYBODY IS HAPPY with that??
Why do not we call this place Mainstream from Finland (abbreviation will be the same)
Why to pretend something we are not?

"but the point is that your comments don't change nothing."
Who said that we WANT to change anything,or that we try to?As just like we had nothing to do with their downhill(which is obvious to the whole freaking metal base except for their fans),we won't have anything to do with what they'll do next.
If we actually had the power to be heard and change things,NW would be the last in our minds to save. They are responsible for themselves, and that makes us able to judge them.Just like you are able to judge us here for our "evil" opinions.
"Do you think that you are so special for them.."
No one said that here.WE KNOW for certain that NW don't give a s*%t for their or anyone else, because then they would respect them and not use them like puppets.
No other band in this genre has used its fan like that.Especially in order to destroy one artist's(or many artists') career.
"DPP album is the best selling Nightwish album so far...uuuuhhh that must be hurt....! '
Yes,that hurt because NW used to be a band that was special about the music and not selling numbers.
To me,sellings count nothing...Let me tell you why.Even though i generally liked this album less than previous ones, being a fan i bought TWO copies of it,normal and Limited.
Just like how many fans did that to support their favorite band.
Also, sales don't indicate one album's quality or importance.
For example,Therion's best selling album was Vovin, yet their most beautiful and important(because it was the VERY FIRST symphonic metal album)sold less.
Legeon wrote on 02.09.2009 at 10:28
Legeon pretty much summed it up there, and I totally agree with him. And Jimmie, there's no reason to get all personal here, you can stop talking like that and accept that everyone who doesn't like Anette being in Nightwish (or doesn't agree with you) might actually not be a 15-year old "selfish evil poor child".
And I already said this, but will say again, maybe you understand this time.
I KNOW that my comments change nothing and in the end are meaningless, so I could just have a nice cup of shut the f**k up. But what you don't understand is, that applies just as well to you too. Period. End of this discussion.

I've thought Mimi was Anette's manager? How many new managers, assistants and life-coaches she got?
And I'm trying to visualize Bagge's "big house". And Anette laughing all the time in it. Especially since it's hard to laugh when you get botox. And you can look really creepy to the surronding. That's why doctors do not recommend laughing very much when you get it. Someone should inform Anette about that.

Who said we hate her for being in NW?That's among the top 10 of NW fans accusations for Olzon haters.
If we hated her for being in NW,we would hate her or every singer in her place from the very first moment, which is hardly close to the truth.
For example,i will shit my pants if Floor become their singer.
We don't like Olzon because of her behavior and singing, not for being in NW.Or replacing Tarja, because Olzon had nothing to do with that.

I agree with you! It's nice to read other people comments here too because today this forum is a "few people's chat room" where they can bark a person (Anette) who they don't like (PS.Don't try to tell me that you have rights to do so because you really don't have any rights to do so and I really don't care your reasons so it's pointless to reply to me). It's so easy to write these comments behind the computer without faces. They can't talk same way to people who they see face to face and if they do it then it's gonna be very difficult for them.Maybe they don't make music or even perform it in public so for that reason they don't understand the whole point of music and what is to be a famous artist.Sometimes I don't wonder why we have wars and fights because these kind of people don't respect anything and they spit out all irrelevant words what they can find.Music is a happy thing but to some people it's some kind of bizarre thing...maybe they are so young or maybe a psychologist can answer for that question...I don't understand it but fortunately I don't have to!
I like also old and new Nightwish.Tarja did a good job and it was interesting to see how Anette gonna do her job.Example few of my friends didn't like old NW but they start to listen the new one but still it's always matter of taste and nothing else.I make music and I like all kind of music from classical to metal so maybe it's easy to me accept changes in music. My simply point is if you don't like the artist then don't listen it or care about that person but same time respect other people...it's sad that some people don't do it!
Keep on Rocking!

OMG, this is exactly what RockMan said some months ago! o.O What same cultural circle can do...

a) Tuomas isn't known to hate the living daylight outta Nettan's manager

b) According to Olzon she had a big fight with Maestro after the crying incident, after which she decided to hire personal manager. Something Maestro has ever denied.
@Phantom (aka "©The demolition crew" favourite dude): I doubt Legeon considers you favourite and I doubt mermaid even considers you to be a dude. :-p
And I see from your recent comments (bashing Anette, defending Tarja, taking fence on defending Maestro) that you regret you didn't chose to become part of the history some months ago (i.e. join the demolition crew). I'm sorry that now it's too late for that, for we don't accept new members now that our quest is at an end.
However you still have the chance to become part of the history as boyfriend of someone from the demolition crew. :-p

Perfect description of Anette Olzon, with all her comments and opinions about some musicians, music genres and other things , lol
"Example few of my friends didn't like old NW but they start to listen the new one but still it's always matter of taste and nothing else."
I wonder why most of the fans of New NW either did not like metal and never listened to metal and listened to mainstream crap, before starting to listen New NW, or did not/do not like old NW ! And yeah taste - taste can be good or shitty :))

Mermaid has a gender and age issue with me, I know. She wants me to be a girl for whatever reason.

If somebody says "I don't like this because..." in a good way then it's ok to me but if someone takes a hobby to bark somebody here then I don't like and accept that...very simply...Do you want to be nasty to someone who you don't like or can you keep open minded attitude and behave well!

Does somebody wants a hot porn with Anette btw? Since she acts like some retired porn star at times, I bet some of you would like to have a test drive with her )))

you still may change your boyfriend, you know.
In your 20 years you are way too young to get married and
it is always a good suggestion to tell you that you have a RIGHT and a DUTY to live your crazy times before you will get settled.
Otherwise it might happen that you will chnage your mind and want to have some cryzy times AFTER you get married and (what is even worse) with kids.
And THAT never yielded possitive results.
After all, there are many nice boys in this world - why to stick just with one? :-))

My impulses are far less strong than my feelings.
Or the fact that i found the only one person in the planet who's my exact match.
Plato used to say that when the world was created, people on the earth were one complete unit. But gods became jealous of it and split these people in two.
So they condemned humans to wander around the world searching for their other half...
I have found my other half.
Anyway,i may have some impulses, but as far as he satisfies me when it comes to the sex part of the relationship(i believe i gave you his opinion some days ago),i don't have a problem.
Besides, his denial isn't because he doesn't want me to be satisfied, but because he gets hurt.He thinks that i am not satisfied with him, that's why i have these thoughts.
Which is hardly close to the truth.

Thank God we don't have that part in Greek Orthodox weddings :)
@mermaid
There may be many nice guys in the world, but that's not the point.I didn't not get in that relationship just for the sake of being in one.
The point is that i am with him,he's with me.And that's it.
It may be a little hard to understand that because of how relationships are nowadays, but it's the truth.
And as i said, not only we love each other, but we are the same.
Liking the same things with your partner is important, but what's even more important is to want the same things from a relationship, and this is hard to find.
You know what's funny?
I met him through a mutual friend, and we started talking through MSN.We were asking questions to each other, about life or interests or relationships...
When he answered i thought that someone was playing a game with me.Because he gave the answers i wanted to hear. And actually believing them.

For me my ideal partner exists. The person that i has imagined and wanted.
Imagine my surprise and gratefulness when i found him :)

You're talking like my fiancee and my relationship is a prison.
After 2 years with him,i know better. We have exactly the relationship we want:emotional but relaxed to.We have a great time together, because he's not just my boyfriend, but my best friend too. He's the only person i have so much fun,and it's a plus we like and want the same things.
I was never that free, even when i was single and with girls for friends.
The only commitment is that about loyalty, but that's it.
And some impulses don't count as a reason to leave him.Because i know pretty well that if i ask him seriously,he will accept.Just to make me happy.
But i also have the impulse to leave my University to go to Sweden and stalk my favorite singer(and no,this isn't a irony for Olzon,i'm actually talking about another singer) but that doesn't mean that my studies are a prison and i must leave them.
One of the 10 basic principles of Economics,is that people have to choose between two opposite things.Which means that you have to sacrifice something in order to have something else.
And i am willing to sacrifice some left-from-teenage impulses in order to be happy for the rest of life.

- I think that Seer with his lust made us.
Anyway, I never was attracted by a female. And if my boyfriend would ever come with 2 on one idea, he will knows FOR SURE how does it feel to have my nails in his eyes. Territorial like hell.
For me it is as I said already: Tall boys with bass voices. Voice of Ville Valo always made my knees melted (and not just knees have been effected, I might tell you)
Maestro´s white chest of wonders does not attract me at all. It look to me as made froma cottage cheese - and I never was getting excited while shopping in dairy production area.
Do not get me wrong - I do not stand for men like Arnold Schwarzeneger - a mountains of muscles. Brr.
On the other hand men are expected to have SOME muscles. Ville Valo has a beautiful voice and his green eyes are deadly attractive, but his body is a body of 11-12 years old child.
Maestro used to have some nice muscles, if I remember right.
So, I am as traditional as you might get. :-) Men is supposed to be a man - woman a woman.
And if it comes to imagination - 2 on one only if we speak of two MEN and ONE woman.

I read some explanation that the bass voice is caused by quantity of testosteron, which means that our attention is attracted on purely biological level. (Good quality spearms around)

for those reasons I chose Shi-tzu for my dog (whenever came with his own decisions about the direction we were going I ust could lift him and put it under my arm or into a bag)
But unfortunately, these guys do not atract me at all.

Not really. They asked him about the (in)famous question "What's your ideal woman" . He was talking about he could fall in love with any girl, she doesn't have to be necessairly blonde, brunette or red or something like that.
You know, Mermaid was interested in the subject "Maestro's ideal woman" .
I will find it and post it here

I do notr know Legeon,
for that Therion guy.
I like dark hairs and just love green eyes. Brown are also good.
Being BLOND and with blue eyes - then it is quite logical. No moustache, naturally. :-))
But I do not know about this Therion guy - teoretically he is "my type". But in fact...
Is he tall enough?
I am 167 cm tall, since my 13 years I am wearing heels. They are about 10 cm high - if you add that, then in order not to see just a top of man´s head he must be at least 180 cm high.
As I recall my boyfriends were 186 cm high and more :-)
Hour glass shape of body.

Tuomas: Yes, when I fell in love for the first time I was 14 and I've waited two more years for my first kiss. Quite late.
Could I ask you something intimate?
Tuomas: Yes sure
How old you were when you did it for the first time?
Tuomas: 18. We were together for several months but later we broke up. I have only nice memories about her.
Who is the woman of your dreams?
Tuomas: hard question..maybe someone like Cristina Ricci in Sleepy Hollow . However I don't believe in "an ideal woman" . I fell in love with blondes, brunettes, tall or short girls. It doesn't really matter, love is something that just happens.."

OK, this is getting too funny to NOT participate in.
@Mermaid: Re."I read some explanation that the bass voice is caused by quantity of testosteron, which means that our attention is attracted on purely biological level. (Good quality spearms around)"
Yes, this I'd agree that this is an evolutionary thing. After all when we were cavemen, a cavewoman probably wouldn't have felt too safe with a caveman who spoke in a falsetto! Anthropologically, I think this was part of a larger system of survival mechanisms.
"spearms " - LOL!
Perhaps each woman is attracted to men who possess qualities that make them feel safe. I have no idea what about the "White Chest of Wonders" would make me feel particularly safe, yet as I've said in another thread, I'd gladly lick chocolate sauce off of it anyday.
@ The Riddler, @Phantom, @Mermaid: "Spankies" - not an English word, but I think it definitely should be! This made my day! This is why I keep coming here.

Jimmie: Do our comments somehow keep you from enjoying NW since you seem so bothered by them? :-O Well, I didn't know that we are so powerful after all!
See, I can totally empathise with some of you at least. I tried to be loyal to NW - I really tried - but even if I had beaten myself with a hammer, this couldn't have changed my increasingly negative view of NW's music, my falling out of love with them. I just realised I DO NOT ENJOY Anette's voice, and the music wasn't as exciting as I had HOPED, either. I was DISAPPOINTED. And I realised I could not convince myself into liking something that I just don't. I actually CARED. I still care, that's why I'm still here.
Although, I can see that the instrumental version has a lot of advantages to the regular version:
- no Anette
- no Marco
- no silly lyrics
- additional instruments
- instrumental music is just cool in general
Remove the songs written or co-written by Emppu or Marco, and you get 100% Maestro. I guess DPP can't get any better. If the next NW album is fully instrumental, I'd even consider buying it. Because instrumental music is known to sell badly, so I will accept that it's no commercial pop rock crap.
LizLunatic: Before Tarja was fired, it was not publicly known that Tuomas hated Marcelo, either. Nor were arguments in the band publicly known.
Jimmie: We do have the rights to criticise and mock anyone we like, thankfully. It's called free speech. I know people who are musicians themselves, have their own bands, and can't stand Anette or new NW at all, but love old NW.
Phantom: Yes, I think it's a sign of deep affection.
TheSeer: "No logic. Only intuition." I suppose this is what makes discussions with fangirls so hard, LOL! Too bad that they don't even know what intuition is - they only don't have logic.
mermaid: It's true that Tuomas's ideal woman can have any hair colour - but she must be perfect. That's the problem. And docile. Like the android I posted on another article. :-D
@Tero: Doesn't every member and ex-member of NW talk Savo dialect - except Anette, of course?

I would say that would be rather safe, because any wild animal with some self-respect would never ever attack a thing talking in falsetto!
What if it would be sick (rabies ..) - or what is even worse for every alfa-male animal - what if that think would be GAY??
(Sorry, Seer, I could not help myself here)

your comment made my day today, sure
"I have no idea what about the "White Chest of Wonders" would make me feel particularly safe, yet as I've said in another thread, I'd gladly lick chocolate sauce off of it anyday. "
When I talked about white chest of wonders looking as if built from chottage cheese, I did not mean the color. I meant consistency.
On the other hand - cottage cheese with chocolate is not too bad - hence your answer. You are fan of dairy products...
That just mean that safety feelings are not the only one to motivate us...
mermaid wrote on 08.09.2009 at 09:57
On account of that "falsetto" issue - (I am still laughing) THNX, CanuckFan,
our neighbouring nation has in one radio station commentators as follows: female with deep voice and male with falsetto(!). I KNOW that it is not a proof that that guy is a gay, but he better would be... the sound of those too speaking together is just FUNNY....
And speaking about fanny sounds: have you ever seen (hear) one of that american movies with big strong men - like Arnold Schwarzeneger, for example
have you ever heard that translated to French??
It is worth that, really!
First, whenever you have this: "Fuc* off, you bastrad, I will kill you"... etc staff
you have something completely different in French -
and do not ask me why - in falsetto!
What made all this heavy american guys immediately sounding completely gay...
Sorry, Seer.
But we had some really hard laughing thanks to that.
Once one belgian man told me that he saw japanese movie, where some man talked in very angry, agressive voice to a woman (barked on her)
- and then he found out that the man in question was in fact expressing his love to her... well, what would you expect, love does not come easy to japanese males..
Anyway, action movie translated to French language is the best.
I am talking about that, because you, CanuckFan could have the same experience, on account of being Canadian...

Legeon,
something like year ago I read somewhere on web discussions of people, who tried that combinations we mentioned here yesterday (2+1)
and I remember that women there, who actually initiated it, complained that it was not a good idea at all.
Either they boyfriends started to cheat on them with the other other participiant of their common sexual experiences,
OR they started to suspect their boyfriends that they do cheat on them ... etc.
In almost all cases they broke in the end.
Only one woman was safisfied - but she clearly stated that she chose her ex-schoolfriend who lived more then 300 km far from them and made sure that her boyfriend did not get any contact on her (mobil, mail, etc)
So, looks like quite dangerous thing to do.
As for the other combination: 2 men + 1 woman -
surprisingly rare..

And as for being a good girl - I never was any. Neither I did date "good" boys.
For one: they are very predictable,
For two: they are boring
for three (and most important thing): I always felt attract to men I looked up to. And not just in physical point of view.
Not my fault I never looked up to a good boy...
I really sometimes do not understand the preffered qualities here - I would say that it sounds to me like being in a church school,
but as far as I did teach in a church school and I am absolutely sure we never asked for those qualities, i just do not get you, guys.
I saw Almagest to discuss a Diva matter somewhere.
Being "Diva" is NOT a negative valuation. It is just a description.
On the other hand - being "humble"? I never saw anybody trying to achieve this - except of NW, off course.
There are other things I do not understand at all. But just an example.

Mermaid: "I read some explanation that the bass voice is caused by quantity of testosteron, which means that our attention is attracted on purely biological level. (Good quality spearms around)"
The bass male voice is due to the shape of the larynx , the Adam's apple. Obviously this is due to the testosterone level during puberty. I doubt it's directly related.
I read quality of the sperm is affected by pollution. You should aim to country boys rather than city men. :D

And. Is somebody here who can raise this question in official NW forum?

I'm not fond of shopping, sweetheart, that's right. And I'm not interested in didlos, unlike you. So I'm afraid didlo is not in my wishlist and I surely wouldn't like too see it under my Xmas tree )))
I think you really should share your thoughts about didlos with Fatty Nettie :) Shopping is her religion and wouldn't we all want to see some nice post from her in her cute blog about didlos and some photos of her with didlo,of cute pink colour with a ribbon?

Do you fancy to marry us, join us, date us, bribe us, spoil us... ? Or?"

OK, let us do some serious work here today:
What about Sisters of mercy, CanuckFan?
Have you heard them? it is an English rock band (gothic rock)
that formed in 1980. The band had their commercial breakthrough in mid-1980s and sustained it until the early 1990s, when they stopped releasing new recorded output as a strike against their record company.
They released three original studio albums, of each album was recorded by a different line-up; singer and songwriter Andrew Eldritch and the drum machines called Doktor Avalanche are the only points of continuity among the line-ups. Eldritch and Avalanche were also involved in The Sisterhood, a side-project connected with Eldritch's dispute with former members.
I am listening their A slight case of overbombing all day long today, but too much fun. I just can not concentrate..

CanuckFan,
I am stuck with Placebo at the moment. I just love this guys voice - these kind of voices you might get in UK only
and i like the way he looks (and by that I mean STYLE this time)
Placebo are an alternative rock band formed in London in 1994, currently consisting of Brian Molko, Stefan Olsdal and Steve Forrest. To date, they have released six studio albums, six EPs and twenty-seven singles. The band have sold over one million albums in the UK and over ten million worldwide.
Thus far, Placebo are best known for hit songs such as "Nancy Boy", "Pure Morning", "You Don't Care About Us", "Every You Every Me", "The Bitter End", "Twenty Years", "Black-Eyed", "Because I Want You", "Infra-Red", "Meds", and a cover of the Kate Bush song "Running Up That Hill".[3] Their style has varied greatly.
Here, enjoy:

@ Mermaid: I'm glad I made your day with the caveman falsetto comment!
As for The Riddler...I doubt he's American or Canadian. His English is very good and if I had to peg him as a native English speaker, I'd guess he's from the UK or another English-speaking country with UK influence. But there are a few subtleties in his written English that suggest to me that he might be a non-native English speaker. It's hard to say. "Ducky" sounds British to me; "Cup cake" could be anywhere - or he could be a Fonzie fan. Hard to say.

Haven't heard of Sisters of Mercy, but will check out the links when I get back from work today. I have to leave soon, actually.

Do you have any specific requests?
You know (I am being sneaky here, but...) I could start a CanuckFan/Mermaid thread in the MFF forum (other people would be welcome, too, of course) and we could share recipes & music suggestions galore there...If you want, of course. I would be super convenient, more so than these threads. I see The Seer has signed up for the forum, BTW.

The Riddler wrote on 08.09.2009 at 22:19
@Legeon
I went to university before retraining, too, and it makes a huge difference. But a word of advice: do the pastry training while young; it gets way harder the older you get, in so many ways.
As for the chocolate cheesecake, no I haven't tried the Starbucks' version. Starbucks baking in general is very good, but it probably varies in selection depending on where you go.
Now, I have a bazillion cheesecake recipes! Literally - a bazillion. I can't find a link on the Kraft site for the chocolate cheesecake recipe I always use - it's old and they probably don't have it in their database anymore, BUT, if you go to www.kraft.com and search for cheesecakes you'll find lots of recipes. The Philadelphia Cream Cheese recipes (produced by Kraft) are always foolproof - I've made them countless times in commercial settings and have never had a problem. I only make the baked ones, though; I don't know about the no-bakes ones.
Here are a couple of good ones:
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/chocolate-lovers-cheesecake-51343.aspx
http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/recipes/philadelphia-double-chocolate-cheesecake-61703.aspx (skip the blueberries if you can't get them)
Epicurious (http://www.epicurious.com/) is also an excellent site where I get a lot of ideas, inspiration, and recipes from. Here is one of their chocolate cheesecakes:

Here, Tuomas's ideal woman: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RealDoll

The firing of some fans already took place with that lovely open letter, cause many old fans "left" the band with the first singer ;P and then NW "hired" some new fandom with hiring Fatty Nettie, LOL
"The Riddler uses unusual smileys, like Russians do, and always writes "didlo". I think The Riddler is Czech. XD"
Now the quest of DC is to find my origins, LOL. Should I be flattered? But I must disappoint you, mate, I'm not Czech, do not speak Czech and never have been in Czech Republic. :)
Some of my friends who are British or German use those smiles too. And I write "didlo" because I like that word that way, that's my conception of macrocosm , LOL

I truly loved Ofra Haza and I should say - have you ever visited any muslim country?
Have you ever heard Muezzin´s calling for the morning service while sun is about to raise over the horizon, but did not yet do so
and in this soft light you can just see a desert everywhere -
it is one of the most fascinating experiences you might get in this world,
spiritualy, esthetically, intelectually, etc..
mermaid wrote on 09.09.2009 at 11:47
OK, I suspect explanation is needed:
OK, now - Muezzin is NOT a priest, it is is a chosen person at the mosque who leads the call (adhan) to Friday service and the five daily prayers (salat) from one of the mosque's minarets (in most modern mosques, electronic amplification aids the muezzins).
The institution of muezzin has existed since the time of Muhammad. The first muezzin was Bilal ibn Ribah, who walked the streets to call the believers to come to prayer.
After minarets became customary, the office of muezzin in cities was sometimes given to a blind person, who could not look down into the inner courts of the citizen's houses and thus could not violate privacy.
The acts of the muezzin are also considered an art form, reflected in the melodious chanting of the adhan.
There are even competitions for them and history remembers some famous muezzines. So, tu put it simple - it IS an ART. And it is beautiful.

I like really old recipes and I do collect them.
The one great thing about them is that you do not need any fancy modern technology for cooking something they did cook in ancient Egypt 3ths years ago ...
the next good thing is that you do not need precision to cook that (like to pipette exactly 1,4 drops of water to the flour)
OR whisk whites under the steam for 3 hours 23 seconds
the next next good thing is that normally you do not need to watch it all the time like a mother hen in order to prevent it to get spoiled (burned to ashes for example)
and the main main important thing is that you do not need to store it by -12C and eat it within one day - these meals were produced to be nice even after few days (sometimes are even nicier after few days)
But maybe we should move this discussion to forum, so poor Tero will not get hungry because of us... :-)))
I will try to have a look on your forum tomorrow, ok?

I didn't miss them. Quite frankly, I didn't know what the hell all those brackets were. I certainly didn't interpret them as smilies, though. Often over here we use brackets for virtual hugs [(((hugs)))] but that's the only similarity I could find. I didn't know Russians use brackets like that for smilies! You learn something new every day, eh?
Re. "the spearms" - oh, LOL! I think Mermaid meant to say "sperms" - but we'd just say sperm in the singular here (like with fish, for instance). The misspelling was just funny to me - half sperm, half spears...Perhaps it's just my sense of humour! :)

OK, the meal I am talking about is still very popular in France and they call it "Cassoulet".
Yet, after further investigation I found out that this meal is in fact Jewish.
Before the WWII it was known in Hungary as "solet",
in ex-Tzechoslovakia as "shoulet",
the same in Russia,
I did not manage to find out how it was called in Poland,
AND in all these coutries I did not manage to find out people who CAN cook it. Only the people who have some vague recollections on how their grandma use to talk about it...
So, one more generation to come and nobody within Europe (with France as an exception) will know what "shoulet" is.
As I said - it is as simple meal as you might get. After all, the medieval village had some infrastructure already - you need hens to have eggs, cows to get milk, mill to get flour, etc...
But this meal does not need anything of mentioned above. It is done out of beans "spiced" with a small piece of meat, bacon and
some basic vegetables: onion, garlic, carrots, tomatoes, celery. In original jewish receipe were grits used,
in my fancy version we will need one fullhand of breadcrumbs and a small slice of butter. :-)
As for a French name "Cassoulet" - "cassa" in French means baking clay vessel, used to prepare this meal,
so it looks like French just took the word "Soulet" and add a "Cassa" in front of it.
Looking forward to see you in forum. :-))

One of the most funiest things you could see in our village are
those two guys barking in FALZETTO on my dog whenever they see him
(they do bark as crazy and jump on their fencies - they sure will die young because of heart attack)

Those two are truly considered to be GAYs because of that

@ The Riddler
Re. "You have missed the point that I've used miscellaneous kinds of smileys through out my posts."
Actually, I didn't miss it - but it is clever of you to keep this practice up, matey. :) Keeps us all on our toes.
I'm pretty sure you're a non-native English speaker, though, but that's the only thing I'm sure of. I don't care where you're from! I don't care if commenters here wish to be enigmatic about their nationality; I figure I'm pretty safe because Canada is a huge country and it's not a big deal to me to reveal that, but everyone has their own boundaries on a board like this.
CanuckFan wrote on 10.09.2009 at 19:18
The Riddler: As I said at the other article, dropping articles is uncharacteristic of a native speaker, even when writing informally. Only in some VERY SPECIFIC contexts it can be seen, and this is not one of it. No hurry, no space limitations.
You just don't write like any native speaker of English I've ever met.
Just an observation. Nice to see CanuckFan agreeing with me. :-)

This is a dead giveaway:
"we are doing funny chats here, and honestly I wasn't doing any efforts to write here in bookish English"
A native English speaker would never use the verb "doing" in that way, plus the grammar is off with "I wasn't doing any efforts." Again, wrong verb, and the pluralization of "efforts" is incorrect.
But until I read that sentence, I was convinced The Riddler WAS a native English speaker.
He's good, what can I say? And clever! Go Riddler!
OK, who else thinks of Batman when they hear "The Riddler?" Anyone, or is it just me? I LOVE that song, I just get unpleasant images of Jack Nicholson in my mind whenever I hear it!

you "put an effort", right?
Actually, I do not think he is native, too - seems to be a bit overdoing to me.. if you know what I mean.
That cheerfull approach is a bit out of line - that is how I see it. Pumpkin.
mermaid wrote on 11.09.2009 at 12:49
Actually, coming back to that love and sex topic we had here few days ago...
It always makes me confused when people are like: it is either "true love" or you could have sex (and you are a BAD girl, shame on you!!)
I still think I managed to achive both things - am I really the one and only?
http://tup.buzznet.com/user/journal/29560/
Ville Valo says in this interview that:
"Q: Is there something that you wish women remember you by? A: The smell of my skin"
And I was thinking about that ... and even checked how am I remembered.
So, results are as follows:
I am remembered by the smell of my hair (one ex)
The other ex remembers me by my habit to put him palm of my right hand on his chest and push him futher (at least I tried to do that)
whenever he started to be cheeky.. and by sniffing while thinking.
(nothing could please woman as much as if she is told that she looks like rabbit - all my dreams come true in one minute!)
Now, how do I know whether it was "true love" or just sex? How are you remembered, guys?
And how do YOU remember your "true loves"?
Just out of curiosity...

Riddler,
I am still thinking about words you typed here on Tuesday:
"real love make you continue lovemaking for hours, and you do not have to put batteries to your ass for that :)) "
___________________________________
and I should say I can not really imagine your TECHNIQUE -
Baterries should be placed INTO a DILDO
NOT into your ASS...
(that is how they say it in instructions for use as far as I know).
Does this mean that you keep dildo static and you try to vibrate around?
(I suppose here that we talk about personal use, as far as any female would consider ASS to be but a SECOND option, not FIRST..)
You know - and this is what happen to men mainly - they simply hate to ask for / read instructions, and then we come to situations like this..

Boys in my coutry feel always free to comment on female asses and tits, etc.
but when confronted with a female valuation of their own asses.. they sometimes looked like they are about to faint!
But as for me - I am more interested in frontline part equipment, if you get my point.
We have a belief here that the size of shoes reflects the size of the very thing... and then we have another belief that the nose of a man in question leads you there...
My ex-colleauge from purchasing had a whole theory on this matter, combining both factors (the size of a shoe and a nose) and she said she has a very good results with it
and because she tested this theory on falf of production guys I tend to believe her.
So based on her theory and on a look of Maestro´s shoes and nose I am quite certain that there in NO HUGE surprise hidden in Maestro ? pants..

I bet you know, experienced as you are, that thin (and tall) guys usually have a longer equipement. Or at least that's a popular belief.

Meastro suffered really hard from that unrequired love. He was very jealous of Diva. But there was also Viking aka Marco who had a secret crush on Maestro. I have proof: http://img232.imageshack.us/img232/2356/x61c430ee.jpg
Viking hated both Diva and Mafioso: he hated Diva because she was in the spotlight more than he, also it was her Mafioso husband who stole affection of Maestro. So he made a plan with Shortie aka Empuu and Weirdo aka Jukka (Shortie didn't care about anything and Weirdo cared about NW's shop) and they all decided to get rid of Diva and her Mafioso husband. Meastro understood that the battle for Mafioso's heart had been lost because of Diva and in rage wrote the Letter, all other guys supported him and Diva was kicked out, along with her Mafioso husband to the great frustration of Maestro and to the great joy of Viking!!! The End!
"Since when divas are supposed to sit on other people laps? That's not a proper diva behaviour! "
Oh no, poor Tuomas, what is he doing-allowing diva to sit on his lap!!!! It may be contagious! And look here, he is touching her breasts with his divine head!!!!!!!

You are right, Phantom. It would have been rude. And since mermaid stated she was innocent, it would have been considered as sexual harassment from your side, I'm afraid! ;)
"lucky Maestro :P "
What a strange thing. She is not allowed to step on his shadow and he can place his head on her breasts! What a world!

Tero, sorry, but I have to reply or I'll burst. :-p
But I can always submit a few more rumours ... the news on here have been on the less serious side for quite a while already (I fear MFF is selling out and becoming a gossip fanzine about pop princesses) :-p
Given how music is essentially vibrations, this place should be renamed to VFF - VIBRATIONS FROM FINLAND. Who knew that Finland has so many good vibrations?
Phantom: The reason why mermaid wondered about the size of Tuomas's little friend is obviously that he's acting like someone frustrated and unhappy about his a lot - I bet Marcelo has a quality that we've never thought of :-p
mermaid: "I am openly female"
Good one! Let's organise a Female Pride Parade! Lipsticks (and corsets?) for everyone!
The Riddler: Fancy some gender reassignment surgery? I'll do it cheap :-p
I just commented on another thread that perhaps we should make up uncomplementary nicknames for all band members - damn, you've already done it!
Phantom: Divas can behave any way they want - that's why they are divas for!
TheSeer: There's also the scene where Diva assaults Maestro's tummy with her own :P
Always makes me think of the scene where Obelix plays tennis with Asterix bouncing a Roman legionaire with his tummy XD

More proofs of Tarja's "divishness":

I hope it worked. I get the same message again: "This video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions.". Copyright restrictions!? On a fan-made video!? I hate YouTube. It sucks!

I don't doubt Marcelo has probably some hidden quality

OMG, this video is BEAUTIFUL! Went to my favourites instantly. :-)
I love when Tarja sings in it "the Age will say this Poet lies...".

Because she deserves it.
I reserve my right to criticise, especially a singer with a diva attitude when she is the new lead singer of a band who fired their old lead singer for diva attitude and never retracted that accusation and nearly ruined her career in the process. Look up "double standards".
