THAUROROD: Mixing process for debut album has begun

THAUROROD has issued the following update:

"Hello,

The album is being mixed at E-Major Studios by Tero Kinnunen and we already listened to some unfinished drums he had mixed and WOW! they sounded so great!!! So now Tero has Pro Tools projects that consists the drums, bass, both rhythm guitars and the main vocal track.. He works with  hem and meanwhile we record some more material and bring them to him later.

We have now both Emppus and Lasse's solos recorded ..some unbelievable fuckin guitar playing! Also there are nearly all lead guitars recorded. Keyboards were earlier recorded in MIDI and now we are just selecting the sounds from Emmi's Motif and turning MIDI's into WAV tracks. Also all Markku's vocals are now in. It seems that we may start recording the guest musicians for the album next week!

I'll try to write some updates also to studio diary from the remaining guitar
recordings etc..

As you might have noticed we also confirmed a show in Dante's Highlight on 19th September. There should be more confirmed shows soon .. both in  Finland and in Germany but we'll see..

Our graphic designer for the album is Jan Yrlund (Darkgrove). He made an
outstanding cover art for the album and now he is finishing the album cover. We will release that as soon as possible!

Okay so it seems -Upon Haunted Battlefields- is complete in about one month! And it truly seems it will be one of the greatest melodic metal albums fuckin ever released!!!
