AMORAL: New Video Interview Posted Online

The official Finnish AMORAL street team, "Amoral Team Finland", conducted an interview with AMORAL vocalist Ari Koivunen and drummer Juhana Karlsson on June 13, 2009 prior to the band's concert at Tavastia in Helsinki. Watch the chat in three parts below. (Note: The interviewer is Japanese, so the questions are in Japanese, but subtitled to English and the answers are subtitled to Japanese.)

"Show Your Colors", the new album from AMORAL, will be released in Japan on July 22 via Marquee/Avalon. The CD recently entered the official chart in the band's home country of Finland at position No. 19.

"Show Your Colors" was released in the U.S. on June 9 through Spinefarm Records via Fontana distribution. Available in Finland since May 6, the CD was recorded at Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

"Year Of The Suckerpunch", the first AMORAL track to be released featuring Ari Koivunen, entered the national chart in the band's home country at position No. 19. In addition to the title cut, which was written and composed by guitarist Ben Varon, the single includes a cover of the MISFITS song "Dig Up Her Bones".

AMORAL made its official live debut with Koivunen on February 6, 2009 at the Frostbite festival in Lahti, Finland.

Koivunen is best known as the winner of the 2007 Finnish national TV talent competition "Idols". He has released two solo albums thus far — 2007's "Fuel For The Fire" and 2008's "Becoming".
