Video Footage Of ANETTE OLZON's Pre-NIGHTWISH Band ALYSON AVENUE Surfaces Online

Video footage of singer Anette Olzon's pre-NIGHTWISH band, the Swedish AOR act ALYSON AVENUE, performing the song All This Time" on May 29, 2005 at KB in Malmö, Sweden can be viewed below. The clip in question features Olzon (then known by her married name Anette Blyckert; she has since divorced) alongside Niclas Olsson (keyboards and songwriting), Thomas Löyskä (bass), Tony Rohtla (guitar) and Fredrik Eriksson (drums).
Two other ALYSON AVENUE songs featuring Olzon are currently available for streaming on the band's MySpace page. Check out the tracks "Free like the Wind" and "I Am (Your Pleasuremaker)" at this location.
Olzon made her recording debut with NIGHTWISH on the band's sixth album, "Dark Passion Play", which came out in September 2007.

she was much much better in her original style: with blond short hair, with her previous band and, most of all, singing this sort of songs/genre.. i wonder why she doesn't pursuit this kind of project instead of keeping on trying to be "symphonic metal" which she's definitely not.

Wow her singing voice sounds so much better these days I think, going to Nightwish was a good descision!
I'll support her in anything she does anyways, being one of my big idols...

the music is just different to what she does with nightwish, so there's really no use comparing.

the song (I am your pleasuremaker), has to be the best of the whole Alyson Avenue career... it's so addictive, and it's refreshing to hear Anette in the role of the sexy temptress instead of the sweet girl she always sounds like in nightwish (though I like that too). I hope she does this same kind of thing in the next nightwish album!
it's sad that there's no chance of hearing her singing it live, or no footage of her doing this song with Alyson Avenue...

I think Anette's vocals sound better with AA than with NW. It's more of her style actually. The music NW makes is too powerful and bombastic for her vocal style IMO, but I wish her the best and I hope the whole website thing doesn't get to her head. :P
