STAM1NA and SABATON Added To the TUSKA Line Up

Tuska Open Air Metal Festival 26.-28.6 in Kaisaniemi, Helsinki, Finland has added 2 more bands to the 2009 line up. Swedish power metal act SABATON will perform at Kaisaniemi on Saturday 27.6. and one of the most popular Finnish acts of the moment, STAM1NA, have been added to the bill for Sunday.

STAM1NA was the big winner of the latest Finnish Metal Awards (not to be mistaken with the MFF Awards!) held during the finnish Metal Expo. 'Raja', was chosen the best album of the year, with 16,28% of the votes, scoring higher than DIABLO, NORTHER and CHILDREN OF BODOM. 13.11& of voters also chose STAM1NA to be the best Finnish band.

 

The Swedes of SABATON also released a very successful album last year, 'The Art of War', which contains a surprising track, called 'Talvisota' (Winter War). It describes the heroic deeds of Finns during World War II against the outnumbering Russians.
