SONATA ARCTICA Keyboardist Completes Tracks For Bandmate ELIAS VILJANEN's Forthcoming Solo Album

SONATA ARCTICA keyboardist Henrik Klingenberg checked in with the following update:

"Beef !

I finished the tracks for Elias (Viljanen / Sonata Arctica guitarist) last week and sent them out He's got some real killer songs on the upcoming album, be sure to check it out ! I'm pretty excited to hear how everything turns out, as soon as the mixing is done I'll know more.

Keyboardwise this was a back to basics-type endeavour, as it is a 'guitarÄ-album, most key-tracks are organ or some other kind of supporting sound, and some fx-tracks as well. I managed to squeeze in a couple of short solos but other than that it's all about the mighty guitar. There will be more keyboard solos on my solo album... if I ever get that done.....probably should get started at least....

Next week I'll be meeting up with my SA-bandmates, to lay out the plan for the future recordings, touring and whatnot, and soon we'll be out in the woods again, checking out new songs and drinking beer ;D

Btw it's snowing like hell outside, so luckily I got a package of books in the mail today, a couple of ones by Tom Wolfe, a book about AEROSMITH, one about ALICE COOPER, and Better Than Sex by HST, in case you're wondering. I'll start reading later, now it's time for CSI and in an hour or so I better go outside and start shoveling the goddamn snow off my driveway before it piles up. Winter rules!!!"
