The grave digger metal act DEATHLIKE SILENCE, now a Spinefarm band, is breaking in with a second album, titled 'Saturday Night Evil'. This work is already considered a surprise and a revelation by the metal reviewers, recommending it espeically to the fans of old NIGHTWISH, who enjoy top quality production and a touch of melodic heavy metal as well as hard rock.
Two new song are up in the official Myspace page of the band, 'Trapped In The Night' and 'Who's Gonna Bury Me'. You can check them HERE.
'Saturday night Evil' scores 10/10 at MetalMarketing, with the review emphasizing the lyrical themes: "The entire album is about death in one way, shape or form - whether about murderers gone mad, gruesome tales of beheading, evil monsters that lurk deep below the surface or a tragic tale of a man fighting to stay alive to avenge the death of his love, this album has it all!" MetalRevolution gives them 81/100, mentioning the deep, seducing voice and the "bombastic choruses and shredding guitar solos", the recipe that also worked well for the band's first album, 'Vigor Mortis'.
