ALTARIA: New album in the works. New samples and photos available.

ALTARIA has issued the following update on their official Myspace page:

"ALTARIA will shortly begin to record the long-awaited fourth album. Recordings will take place at several different locations during the coming three months and 12 brand new tracks will be recorded. The mixing and mastering will be taken care of by Esa Orjatsalo at Sevik Audio in March 2009. A release date for the still untitled album has not yet been decided but it will definately hit the streets in 2009. Drummer Tony S comments: "We wrote a lot of songs and chose twelve to be recorded. The new stuff has been written very much as a team this time and every member has contributed to the songwriting. I've felt that an important thing for us this time is to musically take a step forward but still keep the ALTARIA-vibe in the songs. So, prepare for an angry, cruchy, guitar-based album filled with the big ALTARIA-choruses! Thank you for your patience - we'll see you all somewhere along the road in 2009!"
