LORDI Video Contest Announced

Finnish monster rockers LORDI have their new CD, "Deadache", coming out next Tuesday (October 28), so what better way to celebrate the release than with a horror video contest?

What you need to do:

1. Log onto www.redmusic.com/lordihorror where you will enter your cell number to receive a code to download the new LORDI single "Bite It Like A Bulldog" for free.

2. Go to the official YouTube group where you will upload your very own horror video, using the free track of "Bite It Like A Bulldog" you downloaded as the background music.

The user with the best video (as judged by The End Records) will receive a LORDI prize pack that will include the following: Autographed LORDI CD catalog ("Get Heavy", "Arockalypse" and "Deadache"), signed guitar, and a signed poster.

Contest ends on November 18, 2008.

LORDI will be the featured musical guests on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" airing on Thursday night, November 6 at 12:35 a.m. (technically Friday morning).

LORDI and reactivated California metallers LIZZY BORDEN will team up for a U.S. tour in November. Also appearing on the bill is STOLEN BABIES.

Japan's WeROCK City has posted a seven-minute interview with LORDI frontman Mr. Lordi and drummer Kita conducted during the band's recent promotional visit to Japan. They talk about their new costume designs, upcoming album "Deadache" and the experience of meeting their rock idols KISS and ALICE COOPER for the first time when they shared the stage with them at the Rock2Wgtn festival in New Zealand this past March.
