WINTERSUN Confirmed For UK's Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival

Finnish Metallers WINTERSUN have been confirmed as a UK exclusive for next years Bloodstock Open Air 2009. This will coincide with the band's long-awaited new album tentatively entitled Time which will also be out in August 2009.

Next year's edition of the Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival, will be held from August 14th-16th August 2009 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England.

Swedish power metallers SABATON are also on the bill.

Tickets went on sale on September 1st at this year’s price of £ 85.00; as of 15th December 2008 the ticket prices will be increasing. According to organizers: "We have decided as always for our fans loyalty to offer the early bird ticket prices for a limited time, this will give you the chance to get next years tickets at this years prices!!"

I don't think that release date is reliable information, no dates or months have been confirmed. And I trust Wintersun forum where Kai Hahto has been updating us with the progress of the album a lot more than an outside source.
