MOONSORROW Interviewed At UK's BLOODSTOCK; Video Available

Finnish folk/pagan metal band MOONSORROW were interviewed by "Angel Of Metal" at the Bloodstock Open Air 2008 festival, which was held August 15-17 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England. Watch the chat in two parts below.

MOONSORROW will embark on a headlining tour of Canada this November. Support on the trek will come from rising black metallers UTLAGR and French folk band LES BATARDS DU NORDS (aka BASTARDS OF THE NORTH).

MOONSORROW released its new EP, "Tulimyrsky" (Firestorm), on April 30 via Spikefarm Records. The CD contains over 60 minutes of music, including a cover version of METALLICA's "For Whom The Bell Tolls".

The band's latest album, "Viides Luku – Hävitetty", came out in North America in April 2007 via Unruly Sounds/The End Records. The CD — 56 minutes of music comprised from two songs — continues to place the group as one of the forerunners of the folk/viking metal scene due in part to their extensive use of folklore and pagan elements in their music and imagery.
