MORIAN: New Album Title, Songtitles Revealed

Finnish metal band MORIAN has set "Ashen Empire" as the working title of its second album, tentatively due in early 2009. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Bloodwork", "Nemesis Rising", "This Mortal Coil" and "Sacrifice". The group says, "We're currently making demo versions of the songs and polishing the more finished tunes to perfection. So worry not, the album is coming slowly but surely. We promise 'Ashen Empire' won't be the new 'Chinese Democracy'."

MORIAN's debut album, "Sentinels of the Sun", entered the Finish chart at position No. 29 back in May 2007.

"Sentinels of the Sun" was recorded at Studio Musica with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (H.I.M., APOCALYPTICA, SENTENCED, etc.) and was released through Dynamic Arts Records. Audio samples are available at the group's official web site.

MORIAN's "Away from the Sun" single (see video below) entered the Finnish chart at position No. 2.
