LORDI: New costumes revealed. Picture available!

LORDI has released new costumes on their official website. Their new outfits contain lots of gold, tiny details and also brand new facial masks and hairstyles.

The costume of Mr. Lordi weights over 24 kilos. All the costumes are made by Mr. Lordi and his wife and the project lasted months.

"We made 5 costumes and also spares to each member. Since we needed to have the new costumes ready for the new photoshoots of Deadache-album, there hasn't been much sleep lately", says Mr. Lordi.

Not only the costumes change, but also the atmosphere on their forthcoming Deadache is very much different from their previous albums. As Mr. Lordi describes the material on new album, it is more twisted and dirty...whatever that means :)

According to Mr. Lordi, the name of their new album "DEADACHE" describes the creative process of the album

"It really wasn't easy cause the schedules were very tight. The name Deadache is slang and it means dead tired. It couldn't reflect our feelings better cause at the moment, we truly are dead tired."

Fans are able to see the new costumes in action for the first time on October 31st in Tavastia Klubi in Helsinki where the band is going to play the whole DEADACHE album.

I don't see all that much gold there? Other than the costume of Amen and skulls of Ox and Kita. But the costumes looks fantastic!

Awa doesn't look like a dreambride on her costume but I'm sure for instance Beetlejuice would consider her as the woman of his dreams!

hmmmm.....they are like pulling a Slipknot and changing there costumes after every album. i dont know what you mean by alot of gold Amen is like the only one and he has to hav gold he is an egyptian mummy. there all badass though Awa looks way scarier than b4 which is good cant wait for there new album.

The costumes are simply amazing once again! I will say, though, that I do miss Kita's old costume. I did love it so!

But I'm still very pleased with the new costumes and I can't wait to see them live! *prays for a US Lordi tour!!!*

i love the new costumes, just some slight changes here and there i love it. and the costuems fit perfectly to the record. i just got it yesterday, and i'm blwon away. so many killer songs, that stuck in my head. i will love them forever!
