OLYMPOS MONS: July 2008 Blog available

OLYMPOS MONS has issued the following update on their official Myspace page:

"Hi there, here we go again with the monthly blog. I can finally tell you all some good news. We're at last under some serious negotiatons with a Finnish Booking Agency so hopefully we'll be able to start throwing gigs at least in Finland for for a start. We've also been rehersing again for the first time in ages, it felt like heaven! We will start off with a gig at Lappvik Rock Festival and then hopefully start to hitting the clubs in Finland (depending of how long the negotiations with the agency will take).

As promised I also added the thoughts behind the lyrics to another song, this one from our first album Conquistador, enjoy!

LADY IN WHITE

I have always liked the stories about trolls and fairies which later on turned into humanoids. There have been used as excuses for maidens being pregnant, husbands being on a drinking spree or just a good story on a storytelling night. This song tells a tale about a guy who's been seduced by this beautiful fairy,
forgets all about time and space until he realize that he actually is her prisoner. The name came from me spending a night at a big manor as a child, and the owner warned me and my mother about the lady in white (a joke off course, but I remember it scared me shitless),
