BATTLELORE: Limited Version Of 'The Last Alliance' To Include Bonus DVD

Finnish "fantasy metal" band BATTLELORE recently entered Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland, with producer Janne Saksa to begin recording its fifth album, tentatively titled "The Last Alliance". The CD is currently being mixed and mastered by the Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, ex-BLOODBATH). Songtitles set to appear on the album include "The Last Alliance", "Exile The Daystar", "Daughter Of The Sun", "Third Immortal" and "Voice Of The Fallen". The limited edition version of the album will include a bonus DVD that will contain the band's performance at the Metal Female Voices Fest 2007.

"The Last Alliance" is due in the fall via Napalm Records.

BATTLELORE is currently utilizing the services of drummer Enrico Annus (ELDERTHRONES, KHERT-NETER) for its live dates because the group's regular skinsman, Henri Vahvanen, "is on vacation and [isn't] able to play all of BATTLELORE's shows this summer," according to a posting on the band's web site.

BATTLELORE released its fourth CD, "Evernight", in North America on March 13, 2007 via Napalm Records.
