AMORAL Confirmed For Finland's QSTOCK Festival

Finnish metallers AMORAL will perform at the Qstock festival in Oulu, Finland on July 26. The band will play the Koomalava ("Coma Stage") at 7:20 p.m. Also scheduled to appear are WITHIN TEMPTATION, STURM UND DRANG and WITCHCRAFT.

AMORAL recently announced the addition of bassist Pekka Johansson to the group's ranks. "Pekka has been helping us out with our recent live duties, and the vibe's been great both on and off stage," the band wrote in a statement. "The dude's a great bassist, has a killer stage presence and is good company, so we quickly realized we'd need to look no further."

AMORAL last year entered the album chart in Finland at position No. 5 with the band's latest effort, "Reptile Ride".

"Reptile Ride" (view cover artwork by Aki Siltala at this location) was produced, recorded and mixed by Janne Saksa at Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland.

Spikefarm Records last June released the Internet-only "Leave Your Dead Behind". The bonus track for this release was a cover of Swedish pop star PANDORA's song "The Naked Sun". AMORAL's back catalogue has also gone digital: "Wound Creations" (2004) and "Decrowning" (2005) were released to digital music distributors last May.
