BATTLELORE Utilizing Session Drummer For Summer Dates

Finnish "fantasy metal" band BATTLELORE has issued the following update:

"Henri [Vahvanen, drums] is going on vacation, and won't be able to play all of BATTLELORE's shows this summer. But no worries, we have a great session drummer all trained and ready to kick some asses with us! Timo [Honkanen, bass] and Maria's [keyboards] bandmate from ELDERTHRONES, also the drummer of the great death metal group KHERT-NETER, Enrico Annus, will be joining BATTLELORE on most of the shows during the summer of 2008. Enrico's first performance is on Saturday at the Wave Gotik Treffen show and we're looking forward to working with yet another talented drummer on stage!"

BATTLELORE recently entered Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland, with producer Janne Saksa to begin recording its fifth album, tentatively titled "The Last Alliance". The CD will be mixed and mastered by the Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, ex-BLOODBATH). Songtitles set to appear on the album include "The Last Alliance", "Exile The Daystar", "Daughter Of The Sun", "Third Immortal" and "Voice Of The Fallen".

BATTLELORE released its fourth CD, "Evernight", in North America on March 13, 2007 via Napalm Records.
