ENSIFERUM: New Video Interview Available

A nine-minute interview with Petri Lindroos (harsh vocals, guitar) and Sami Hinkka (bass, clean/backing vocals) of the Finnish folk-influenced melodic death metal act ENSIFERUM conducted this past Saturday (April 26) at the Medley in Montreal, Quebec, Canada can be viewed below.

ENSIFERUM's latest album, "Victory Songs", was released in the UK on April 7 via Spinefarm Records. This special UK version of the record comes complete with the bonus EP "Dragonheads" — a six-song, 26-minute CD recorded by the Finnish outfit in 2006.

"Victory Songs" is the third full album to bear the ENSIFERUM banner since the band started its recording career for real in the summer of 2001; and in support of its official UK release, the five musicians played a concise run of UK shows as a key ingredient in the "Paganfest European Tour" package. Also appearing on the "Paganfest" bill were MOONSORROW, KORPIKLAANI, TYR and ELUVEITIE.

The rest of the ENSIFERUM catalogue will be released in the UK (also via Spinefarm Records) later in 2008.
