STURM UND DRANG: Learning To Rock - International Edition 31.10.2007

New material from Sturm und Drang!

Sturm und Drang, the sensation from Vaasa delights their Finnish friends on Halloween. A new version of SuD’s Learning to Rock-album, featuring material previously available only in Germany, is due for release on 31.10.

The debut album’s international release contains, in addition to the original 10 songs, a new version of the song Forever, where Udo Dirkschneider (Accept, U.D.O.) accompanies the SuD-vocalist André Linman. Included are also the boys’ vision of their greatest inspiration Judas Priest’s song Breaking the Law, that SuD has been playing quite a lot at their shows, and an acoustic version of the band’s breakthrough hit Rising Son. Rising Son and Indian –videos directed by Marko Mäkilaakso (Century Films) are also included on the album. New band photos were taken by Jere Hietala.

The band is currently touring Europe with Apocalyptica. On the 3-week tour they’ll go to Germany, Poland, Czech, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland and Italy.

Sturm und Drang debut album will be released in Japan November 21st. Sony BMG Japan will release the album in the land of the rising sun. Before this Learning to Rock has been released by HMC – Helsinki Music Company in Scandinavia and by GUN Records in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
