REVIEW: Apocalyptica - Sturm and Drang - Stam1na at: Hambourg - Große Freiheit 36

The following concert-review was sent to us by Sunny. Thank you so much!
"After me and a friend were late, we finally entered the club "Große Freiheit 36" in Hambourg, to watch Stam1na, Sturm & Drang and Apocalyptica. Outside a tourposter at the wall: Sold Out! Fortunately I got my ticket more than one and a half months ago.. :D
On the ticket stood "beginning: 21 pm".. so we arrived at 20:25 at the club. What did my eyes saw!?!? Stam1na already played. Because there was a wrong information on the ticket, we missed almost the whole concert. Only four songs we could see.
At "Paha Arkkitehti" some people were banging. The ordians were still pretty quite and just a little applause came up. No problem to enter the first row. Not wondering, because Stam1na isn't known in Germany, yet...except for a few people, me being one of them.
Hyrde gave his best to introduce the ordians to the show and tried to talk a bit with the people, but unfortunately there wasn't very much feedback. But still enough to let Stam1na have some fun on stage. Me personally loved the guys and they were really great. They just gave their best, so after the last song "Kadonnet Kolme Sanaa" the applause were quite big.
At 9 pm Sturm & Drang entered the stage. After the guys were a bit insecure at the beginning on stage, as well as the ordians, they started metal up their asses. After the third song, the ordians loved them. People banged and clapped their hands, so Andre Linman and the rest of the band became more sure and felt more comfortable on stage. Much people were really surprised, how good those guys already are, at least because of their ages. When S & D played a cover version of Iron Maiden's "Fear of the dark" a lot of people sang along with them and made the final applause for those guys even bigger.
10 pm: After minutes and minutes of waiting, and celebrating the roadies, the guys of Apocalyptica finally entered the stage. After a quiet Intro, which you almost couldn't hear, because people were so loud :D, they started very powerful. The sound was sometimes a bit too much on the drums, but with a lot of pressure and "deaf-danger". xD
One song after the other. No rest. Just pure energy. Apocalyptica played a great, I like to call it "best of", of all of their releases. From "Refuse/Resist" over "Life burns" up to songs from the new "World..s Collide" Record. Of course, when they played their Metallica cover versions of "Enter Sandman" and "Nothing else matters" noone was quite. The whole ordians (I would say, it's more than 1,000 people) were singing along with the band. I'm not sure, but maybe the band knew, that it's senseless to introduce the next song(s), because people didn't stop partying and screaming. ;) So during the whole concert they just introduced six songs... :D
When they finished their gig and left the stage, of course the ordians wanted to hear some more. So Apocalyptica played three more songs, to finally leave the stage.. People weren't quiet and one more song from Apocalyptica made this concert become perfect.
Eicca, Perttu, Paavo, Antero and Mikko at least played two hours and people were just happy. A new gig, an additional gig in the "Große Freiheit 36" has already been confirmed for July, 2nd in 2008.
My personal facit:
I'm really happy with the show of all bands. My neck hurts, my shoulders hurts and my voice has gone, so the money for the ticket was definitely worthy! I'm looking forward the next time, when I can watch Apocalyptica live. To me one of the best live bands ever."
