CHILDREN OF BODOM: Guitar Heroes details, Sinergy plans on ice?

The official website for the Guitar Heroes album has been launched at www.guitarheroes.fi. The album starts with Nino Laurenne's "12 Donkeys" which is a shredfest featuring all the 12 Finnish 6-string masters who appear on the album. It seems that the previous information of Jaska appearing on this album turns out to be false news started by a Finnish magazine. One day before the 7th November Finnish release date of the album, a release party will be arranged in Tavastia club, Helsinki. At the moment neither Alexi or Roope are listed on the Tavastia homepage to be among the participating guitarists.

The song Alexi did for the album is called "Sioux City Sarsaparilla" and features his Kylähullut bandmate Tonmi Lillman on the drums. The basslines for the track that Laiho describes to be "just pure fun and pure guitar" are also played by the Wildchild himself.

Roope's input for the album is "Soap On The Rope": a song he made for the supposedly up-and-coming Sinergy album - which according to him, "never seemed to happen" - turned into a guitar-action song. Janne Parviainen and Lauri Porra (both in the latest Sinergy lineup) have laid down the drum and basstracks for this song. This information heavily suggests that Sinergy has been laid to rest for an undefined time.

In other news, Kylähullut have finished the recordings for their upcoming music video for the song "Kieli hanurissa" (Finnish for "Tongue In Ass"). The mastermind behind the video is Tonmi. It remains to be seen if he can top the singer Vesku's work on their previous Kääpiöt -video.
