Mokoma: Success in yearly polls

" Kuoleman laulukunnaat won the album of the year prize at Finnish Metal Awards held in Finnish Metal Expo at Kaapelitehdas, Helsinki. The album also won the cover artwork of the year prize. The award is arranged by the most respectable metal media in Finland and the prizes were voted by the Finnish metal audience.

Mokoma has also had pleasant success in readers' poll selections in the two biggest pop music magazines in Finland. Readers of Rumba considered Mokoma to be 3rd best domestic band and the video Pahaa verta to be 8th best music video. Readers of Soundi considered Mokoma to be 3rd best domestic band and Kuoleman laulukunnaat 2nd best album in 2006. Mokoma's vocalist, Marko Annala, was concidered to be 2nd best singer in Finland.
