How do these horns work?
The sign on the left is what you are looking for. When you are browsing biographies of bands, if you haven't voted for a band, you will see that image next to the bandname. If you click that icon in the profile, you have given 1 horn to that band. When the band gets enough horns, it might end up in this top-15 list shown on this page.

It is time to start something which hopefully becomes an annual thing here at Metal From Finland. It is time to choose the best from the best. We are going to have many different categories for you to vote on but the biggest thing will be the BAND OF THE YEAR. In the band-category there will be 50 bands to choose from. The best way to make sure your favourite band is in the Top-50 list is by promoting your favourite band. You can do it many different ways. But the most important thing is to click the vote-button on your favourite bands profiles everytime you see it there. (List of bands here) The vote-button looks like the one shown below.But clicking that button only helps you. How to make sure your friends find their way here to click that button too? You should start promoting the band. And we are offering you several ways of doing that.
SEND LINKS TO YOUR FRIENDS
Here's how it works: When you are in bandpage, you will see this image:
You can add your friends e-mail addresses and you can also write them a message which will be delivered to them. In that message you can ask your friends to follow the link and vote that band.
ADD PROMOTION BANNERS TO YOUR WEBSITE
Each bandprofile contains a custom promotion banner you can easily add to your own site. Banners look like the one below:

Just make a lot of noise about your favourite band and just send links to their Metal From Finland bandprofiles everywhere. If you are familiar with for instance Myspace, you can use bulletins to get people's attention.
