Biography

Technicolour makes rock music with a huge crossover appeal. Having released three albums in the same amount of years they are one of the biggest bands in Finland. With 4 top 10 hits under their belt Technicolour is young and sexy but with a profound knowledge of popculture and its history.

Their debut Way Out spawned 3 hits including the beautiful and poignant Fireflies. Only Shadows Dance saw them put on their dancing shoes when the discorock single Teach Me Love played constantly on the radio. The singalongish All My Life, a song that lead singer Jimi originally wrote for the finnish Idols winner was also a huge hit. All My Life and Teach Me Love made the top 3 on the finnish radio control charts staying there for more than eight weeks each.

Their latest effort People is already taking Finland by storm. The single Someday is getting heavy radioplay from virtually every station. Their next single titled Michael Jackson, is already a live favorite and is sure to become a major hit.

Known for their awesome live performances the band have performed close to 300 shows in Finland. The presence and charisma that lead singer Jimi brings to the stage is undeniable and his ability work any crowd has won them friends and fans from all walks of life. Jimis experience starring in two major finnish movies have given him the insight into how drama and emotion lets you touch an audience whether on film or stage.
