T.A.P.

Biography

We are T.A.P. (Tales About People) from Tampere (Finland) and have been together as a band since 2006. Ano (24 years), our drummer, is the oldest guy in the band, and the other band members are all 20 years old. Ano and Aapo were the last members to join T.A.P. in 2006, although we’ve all been childhood friends.

We’ve been playing together for four years and have succeeded to win the DemoFinals in the national radio channel called Ylex. Furthermore, the best result in the hit list has been fourth place. At Meteli.net (www.meteli.net) we’ve been number one in both single and artist hitlists for two weeks.

Our music style settles in rock with huge sounds and great melodies with English lyrics. Our single ”Careless” was released in January and includes two songs (Careless and Mirror), which was recorded and mixed by Jari Latomaa at Deerhouse Studios at the end of last year.

We have played dozens of gigs. All past gigs can be seen at www.mikseri.net/tap. Not the very oldest, though. We have just returned from our first tour outside of Finland. For TREvolution 2008 we played 7 gigs in Germany, Czech Republic and France together with two other bands from Tampere – Renoise and Essentia.
