Stillburned

Biography

Stillburned is a five-piece hailing from Finland. Formed in the september of the year 2001, the band has since undergone a gestation period in terms of line-up changes and stylistic evolution. Musically Stillburned juxtaposes crushing riffs with dark atmospheric melody, completed by frenzied vocals as diverse as the music itself. Infusing blistering energy with cynical attitude, the band communicates glimpses of psychosis, schizophrenia and black humour. Although always striving for originality, the band admits being influenced and inspired by, among others, the intricacy of Death, the drive of Slayer and the offbeat brilliance of Meshuggah.
