"Death Of The Tyrant", the new video from the Jyväskylä, Finland-based metal band SOULFALLEN, can be viewed below. The track comes off the groups debut album, "World Expiration", which was released last September via Off Records.Commented the band: "It took a little more time to finish [the video] than we anticipated, but we decided to take the time to make it perfect instead of ruining it with too much haste. The video was made by a Finnish company called CoreFront."Needless to say that we are all very excited about the new video and also dying to know what you think about it! Biography

The band was founded in 2003 and the first demo “Dark Remains”, recorded at Studio Watercastle by Arttu Sarvanne, was unleashed in 2004. Encouraged by the positive feedback the band spent the year 2005 writing new material and performing various gigs around the country gaining a notable underground audience. In the beginning of 2006 the band returned to Studio Watercastle to record their second demo “Death Of The Tyrant”. This time all hell broke loose.

The band had shaped their soundscape to another level and this was seen in the attention it received in the media: the demo received excellent reviews and praise in all the major music magazines & internet medias in Finland (including Soundi, Inferno, Imperiumi, Miasma, only to name a few…) and SOULFALLEN was even voted one of the best unsigned bands of 2006 by the readers of Noise.fi. This ‘problem’ was however soon taken care of when the band inked a record deal with OFF RECORDS FINLAND and began the recordings of their debut album in spring 2007. The album was recorded in April / May 2007 at Studio Watercastle, Jyväskylä, by Arttu Sarvanne and mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox Studios. The album titled “World Expiration” will be released in Finland on September 19th by OFF RECORDS FINLAND and distributed by FIREBOX RECORDS.

With “World Expiration” the band has taken another great leap forward in forming a perfect balance between aggression and darkly flavoured melodies & orchestrations delivered with excellent production guaranteed to leave no one cold.
