Biography

"Once upon a time in Helsinki, Finland... It seemed like any other cold and sleety night when these four rockers & old friends were hanging out and got asked to warm up for a fellow band. Ready to boost their blood circulation and sweat it all out, they decided to play tracks by some of their favorite artists like The Ramones, Billy Idol, Social Distortion, Hanoi Rocks, Motörhead, D-A-D, Iggy Pop and The Misfits. That night, a project called Punkstar Outtakes was born.

When the resulting show at a local punk pit was such fun, the guys wondered why not keep that attitude up on their own. They started to write stuff in the same spirit: Not even trying to re-invent the wheel but keeping it rolling - having a great time and just rockin' like there's no tomorrow.

They are punks. And they are stars. And they really don't care what they're called. So after a while the name was shortened to Outtakes. Meanwhile the riffs kept on turning into new tunes, the tunes into an album, the album into... who knows what, yet??

...And they all lived happily ever after. Or not. Take it or leave it!"
