Biography

Mystic Opera was founded by keyboardist and composer Anssi Pajuoja in November 2005. Mystic Opera is dark-influenced symphonic black metal band influenced by artists Rhapsody, Dimmu Borgir, King Diamond and classical composers like Frédéric Chopin and Johann Sebastian Bach. Band's lyrics are dark stories of Tolkiens battles from Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion times. Mystic Opera published first promo "Mighty Sauron" in the end of 2006. Our first three songs from it can be heard from this sites.

Mystic Opera had peaceful times after that and the first line-up broke in the beginning 2007 because those members then weren..t enough professionals and not motivated to workat level than in Mystic Opera must be worked. In the beginning 2009 Mystic Opera activated again chose dramatic and classical soprano Magdalena Lee as vocalist to Mystic Opera. We changed other players too. Professional bass-player Mario (from Italy) took place as bassist of Mystic Opera and Markus Juntunen as drummer. We have recorded our new promo and debut album since January 2009 in silence and will publish them when everything is ready and perfect. At the same time we have decided to change our style more symphonic, classical and more into melodic black metal.
