Biography

MISHERE is the headline for melancholic heavy rock/metal, performed by Timo Vehkaoja (vocals), Mikko Heikkilä (keyboards), Tuukka Nygård (guitar), Antti Komulainen (bass) and Jussi Pekkala (drums). A name for momentary feelings and emotions combined with momentary aggression and melancholy.

MISHERE was founded during the early days of 2006 in Oulu, Finland by Timo Vehkaoja and Juha Karjalainen. Band released their very first EP titled “EXIT TO REMEMBER” on January 24th, 2007. From this EP, the song "Never Frozen River" was released on Insomnia Magazine's bonus CD, which came out in May 2007.

MISHERE will head to studio during the coming October to record their next EP. Also the close co-operation with DARK THE SUNS will continue, and the bands will hit the stage together several times during the year 2008, so the future remains wide open.
