MEMOIRA has issued the following update:"We are really happy to announce that Kati Rantala is our new vocalist. We were blown away by her vocal abilities and her work ethic! We received a lots of contacts from all around the world and we would like to thank everyone and wish you all good luck! We were surprised that how easy the whole process was and the amount of time that it took. We are excited and really looking forward to hit the studio after we have finished the song-writing process! Memoira wishes you all a happy new year of 2010! Kati Rantala, Vocals"

Biography
Memoira is a female fronted Finnish band playing rather epic Metal that has progressive melodic and gothic orchestral parts. Memoira is known for it’s strong melancholic melodies and heavy guitar walls. Memoira began it’s journey in the beginning of 2007, originally formed by the two guitarists Jani Haanpää and Marko Heurlin in 2001. They gathered together a group of various musicians who had played in different bands.
