Biography
It was may 1997 when finnish thrashcore band Forca Macabra were on tour in Europe. The tourbus collapsed in the Croatian mauntains far from home in the middle of tour. There were no other way but get the bus repaired somewhere and continue the tour when its fixed. The band had to wait for few days in Czech Republic and somewhere there Mr. Anthares, while jamming the song "Bestial invasion" from legendary thrashmetal band Destruction with his guitar, he got the idea to put up his dream. A old school -thrashmetal solo project. It seemed that in the nineties there was no any new real thrashmetal bands. Just millions of corpsepainted blackmetal bands or other shit. This pissed Anthares totally.
Back in Finland the idea had to rest for a while. And finally in summer -99 Pedro called to couple of people he thought to be real thrasher in their hearts. The lineup get its form quite easily, the singer was found in the same band. Taurus had everything what thrash vocalist should have: hi-pitched scream and brutal thrash voice. And beside that he had good experience playing thrash from golden eighties when he was in local thrashmetal band "Nuclear Disaster". Like in most of real thrash bands, another guitarrist would give more power to the wall of distorted riffs. The perfect match was found in a German dude who came recently to Finland for his studies. This raging lad is also known as Heiko "Explicit" Hate, who plays in german deathrash metal band Dementia. Wunderbar! Well, then just rhythmsection more and the team is complete! It was easy case, the drummer and bassist were found in black metal band Acabo El Silencio, which has similarities with Forca Macabra, the band sing in exotic language and this case it is is spanish. The guys, drummer Esteban Genocidio and bassist Carlos de Gigolo were also old friends from years before in some local crust acts.
After some rehearseals, when the songs were getting some sort of shape, Anthares thought that its time to get into studio to get some kind of document. The last notes were composed in the same day (17.5.2000) when entering the studio Moonman, Helsinki. First in studio there were carried all the alcohol needed, then equipment. The session was complete next day. There is no much memories left to tell you exept some foggy visions of Taurus raging with winebottle in his hand recording his bestial growls and screams. The result is three track demo cd called "Jumalation Thrash Attack" (demo cover on the main page). The name comes from Pedro Anthares Group, which is also called "Jumalation". Name could be translated something like "godless". More or less... Anyway it suits us well....
After this it has been quite quiet. The next plan is to play first show ever with Jumalation hopefully in May in somewhere. Probably next release will be "7 ep or split with mighty MALICIOUS DEATH, another thrash metal act from Hellsinki.
