We are in the process of getting some merchandise together and need some help with some of the graphics and so on. Biography

Hevein began in 1992 by Leif Hedström (guitar) and Alpo Oksaharju (Drums). The first name was Heven Hill and after a while they changed it into Hevein.

In 1998 the bassist Tomi Koivunen and violinist Aino Piipari joined, but finding a permanent vocalist remained a problem. The first demo was "Heartland" and it was just instrumental music. On the second demo "reverance" Leif  was the singer and then they found Dimitri Paile who sang on the "only human" demo and in the same time Max Lilja (Apocalyptica) joined the band as well.

But it doesnt work really with Dimitri Paile and on the last demo "Fear is..." Nico Hartonen (Godsplaque) overtook the vocals. The first Livegig on the Tuska Festival was together with Dimitri.

After all they found Juha Immonen in october 2003.  And he stays as a vocalist in Hevein. First demo was "break out the hammers" (2004) and in the same year in Hevein signed to spinefarm records. They entered the studio, the record released in august and then Tomi left the band. Janne Jaakkola (7th Labyrinth) took his place in the band and the first gig was together with Stratovarius and Hammerfall in 2005 in Tampere.
