How all good stories begin?

Once upon a time in a land far, far away there was… and…blah blah blah..
– Well, that’s not the case here… let’s rewind.

Who the hell are these people and where do they come from?

Six guys and one blonde, who lived and loved rock’n’roll, luckily ran into each other One by One. Old friends, new friends.. but now citizens of Hellcity13. Something happened. Call it magic or call it chaos, but something was in the air right from the start.Pretty much, after the name Hellcity13 was said, and after intensive rehearsing and songwriting – and more rehearsing - it seemed that doors began to open. So far, so bad.

Question #13 :In or out of the cellar?

First, the infamous double a-side promo produced by Johnny Lee Michaels (In your Eyes – Is Anybody Out There) was released and praised by reviewers around the world, followed by live TV appearances, gigs, more songs, more fans. And then…

Double or Nothing.

The band decides confidently to record their album themselves. Staying true to their vision and believing in their talent, they complete the master. Promos are sent out to the World.
International prospects arise, and the negotiations begin. Teja Kotilainen, the former manager of The Rasmus and many other successful Finnish acts hears the material at Mika’s place and wants to sign the band immediately. In October of 2007 the self-titled debut album “Hellcity13” hits the stores (Break A Leg Entertainment Inc. / Playground Music).
The video for the first single “In Love With Love” stars OX from Lordi and gains earned attention. Album reviews claim “One of the best debut’s I have ever reviewed” and applaud the professionalism of the band. What do you think?

There’s a new band in a playground and like someone said”there is a new religion in town – and it is called…Hellcity13.
