FOR SELENA AND SIN has issued the following update on their official Myspace page:"FOR SELENA AND SIN begins second albums recording on 6th of october. This time road goes to Västerås in Sweden. The album is going to be recorded in Studio Underground and the man behind the levers and buttons will be Pelle Saether. Bass player Teemu Turkia comments on next album:"With this new record we took a big step towards a new sound. We also thought a long time about the location of studio and we ended up in Sweded because of many reasons. Compared to our debut album, this new material will be more versatile and a little bit faster"Since "Overdosed on You" debut there has been lineup changes. Biography

For Selena and Sin was founded in late 2004 when Pasi (guitar) and Teemu (bass) finally decided to put together a band, an idea they had played with for several years.

Right from the beginning it was clear for both of them that they wanted their music to be more serene and moody than what they had played before with their previous bands. Also to find a female singer for the band was self-evident.

The first few months were used to form a suitable style, and song ideas were tossed back and forth. When the songs started to get a clear and functional form, it was time to take the next step and find the singer and the players for other instruments.

The drummers seat was quickly filled with Kuha, and Teme became the keyboard player. And it didnt take long for Sini (vocals) and Mika (guitar) to complete the line-up.

When the line-up was set, it was time to start to train the songs, smoothly but with determination. When summer turned to autumn, the band and the songs started to be ready for the first demo.

The first, three-song demo Draining was recorded and mixed in Studio Watercastle, Jyväskylä, Finland, by Arttu Sarvanne.
The demo Draining was received very well among the listeners as well as the critics. Towards the end of 2005, also record companies had started to show increased interest for the band.

In the beginning of 2006, long negotiations with different record companies finally started to bear fruit, and Selena and Sin decided to sign a contract with a sublabel of the Dutch Mascot Records.

Because of various reasons the ways of band and singer Sini separated in spring 2006. New singer Annika took place at band's line-up and debut album recordings began at Studio Watercastle.
